    There is a huge market for parents. I know, I've been there and I've paid stupid prices too. Our video monitor was £100 about 7 years ago. We had a £40 Chinese monitor before, and it was OK as well. I prefer monitors with a designated screen.
    I believe about £100 is a reasonable price. But £200 on sale...that's because parents pay, and months later they realised they've paid for features they don't use, or there are cheaper, still better alternatives. We learn it the hard way, and when we try selling some of the stuff, we get next to nothing in comparison with the price we've paid. (edited)

    I had installed a cheap £30 YI cam for both my kids cots. I can even monitor them on my computer. I don't see the point of this camera at 6x price.

    Weird comments on here today - people slagging this off don't seem to have experience with the actual device and haven't looked into what this device offers over others apart from comparing price.

    This is expensive as it is the best baby monitor out there, aside from the usual features (1080p camera, great night vision, lights/noises etc), the reason you go for Nanit over others is sleep analytics and breathing monitoring. If you care about any of these, which I think most parents do, this is the one for you if you can afford it.

    Have our second one arriving soon so will be taking advantage of this deal for a 2nd device. PS - make sure you use amazon baby wishlist for extra 15% off....
