Alright, not a bad price and voted hot.
But damn have they ruined the recipies. The "Classic chicken" is terrible now, way less creamy than it used to be.

When this company started out, they used to have loads of different soup concoctions too... really interesting stuff. Clearly an FMCG group bought them, stripped them down to their bestsellers, and then gradually made them more profitable by diluting quality. All their soups are like water now.

I won't shop at Tesco any more I am fed up of the club card price BS.
Yes I do have a club card but now I refuse to use it!
If Tesco want my custom they can do it without harvesting me details.
Why do they need my name age gender and shoe size for a club card?

F Tesco and all the other supermarkets that are joining the club card suit.

Whilst I partially agree, the fact that you already have a club card means you were happy to use one before. Nothing has changed as they were always tracking everything you spent. (edited)

Gone are the days when these used to be £1 when on offer and now the standard offer price seems to be £1.25 and the cartons used to be 600g too. That's food inflation for us

The carton design is weirdly childish now too 🤷‍♀️

I think this was a reasonable deal indeed thanks Tesco's Staff. Join

it's a decent factory soup as they go, can't beat homemade if you have a few mins to spare however the Mushroom one was ruined about 9 months ago, it was like it suddenly became packed out with rice or something similar but the last couple of months it's been back on form and once again resembles what it says on the Tin, well Carton! For £1.25 it's reasonably priced, hardly ever buy it at £2 but they generally have about 3 weeks on the use by and of course in reality last longer so a great time to stock up. Thanks OP
