    assuming you mean the 551, it should be noted the 551 is smaller 3.8l compared to 5.7l of the 301.
    Both units have a 3.8l crisper pot but the 301 has a much bigger cooking pot (that takes the 3.8l crisper).
    I bought the 301 for this reason as it offers much more flexibility

    Maybe a daft question, but I've never bought an air frier before. Can you use the cooking pot for the air frier function, or do you have to use the crisper basket? In other words, are you restricted to just 3.8L when cooking chips etc.?

    They say you have to use the crisper basket but we just use the cooking pot on the max version of this for roasting, air frying and grilling sometimes, so I imagine you would be able to do the same for this

    If you’re on the fence as a new air fryer user just jump in - we bought this same model last year and only use the oven for large things like pizza now. Otherwise it all goes in here. Comes out crispier and cooks in around half the time. (edited)

    I have one of these its great just pour a load of cooking oil in with yer sausages and bacon and go and sit down till its done, you dont need to stand watching it like a frying pan
