Personally,, I am not convinced mixing what is WET cooking (rice being cooked in water being boiled away creating steam) and cooking meat on a higher tier supposedly via grilling (direct heat directed from above)... all, yes ALL in same one contained unit...
For me who has cooked and eaten rice for most of my life, I am darn sure it cannot result in the best tastiest nicely textured food being cooked.
Ninja are the top brand, spend millions on advertisements, promoting and being innovative.. And this means creating hype, being gimmicky and 'different'..and creating a cult following by subconsciously hypnotising buyers into thinking their brand is the BEST!!!
But for me, life/experience haa taught me..
Big BRANDS, whilst typically the most expensive and most talked about, they are not always the best or only good option, nor best value for money.
My non-sheep thinking:.. "I just want a good, well made, functional, good sized, durable, nice looking, long lasting, well priced AIR FRYER with a long warranty... Simple"
Keep in mind what a AF really is. Its just a box of sorts with heating element(s) + fan creating a cooking environment... That is it! Any moisture comes only comes from what is inherently inside the food itself, non is added!
Cooking rice however requires a lot of water to be added (hence a lot of steam being created during cooking process)
If I need a steamer or microwave or blah blah blah... I will get a separate appliance/thing that does that specific function.
If I want to wet cook rice etc... I would ALWAYS cook it separately.
IMHO only!
Youtube shows it being used to cook rice at bottom level (steam venting out), and chicken being cooked on top level.

Their foodimax does it all without this gimmicky feature.
