Why is the white one getting so much more attention?

    dealmonday.co.uk/nin…ite

Never used the site, but noticed HUKD took down a deal on the Zelda limited edition on this site.

Likely because it’s a relatively new site. Plus their domain is only registered for one year (expires in September), so could well be a dodgy fly-by-night.

Had an original switch then decided to upgrade to oled and do not regret it, the new screen really pops and honestly the build quality feels way better, really feels quite premium versus the original switch

Unless you NEED nintendo titles, honestly just buy a steam deck or an ROG ally.

The Steam Deck has more bugs than a David Attenborough documentary. It looks half finished with that iffy compromised design. Great if your into advanced stage rushed to market prototype consoles.

is there a way to get cheap games via other countries/vpn like ps and xbox?
    jco83's avatar
It is yes, no VPN needed, for European countries and South Africa you can just change your Nintendo account country and buy using a fee-free card

For other regions like USA or Japan it is possible to buy top-up credit for that country but you may want to use it on a separate account as people have found it troublesome to change their account country back when they still have foreign credit left on the account

Good website to see prices: eshop-prices.com

Note: it is not possible / very difficult to buy from South American countries

Thought about picking one up just for the Zelda games. Is it right that this only outputs 1080p @ 30fps ?
    Alex_Ham's avatar
    Yup

If you don’t own one already is this a good deal? It doesn’t come with a game and it seems most are around 40?
    HotUk2019's avatar
They're around 280-290 all year round so not the biggest saving. Also, bear in mind no games and they are expensive to buy so adds up pretty quickly.

You can find brand new ones on eBay for around 250-260 or if you don't mind used/as new with games for a bit more.

Also, if you're not too into Nintendo Games, there's the Steam deck currently on sale (if you can find stock). (edited)

Do the price match in Currys, if only to savour the absolute fury from the staff as they grudgingly do their job and serve you
    lee.horner's avatar
    Do they price match amazon?
  10. thewolf8u's avatar
Are these still £280? Thought they’d be £100 by now
    Terreneflame's avatar
Then you have absolutely no idea how prices work
  11. Potty_Trained's avatar
Forgive me how is this hot? This was the price 3 years ago. Or is it hot because you know....inflation
    noahsdad's avatar
The OLED Switch wasn't even around 3 years ago lol! But to answer your question, it's the nation's favourite hybrid console quite obviously .

    Nintendo HQ;
“Our system is old. Processor is dated, Should we make a new switch?”

“Nah, those fools are still buying it LMFAO”
  13. Micksabhoy's avatar
Would it be worth upgrading from the og?
    noahsdad's avatar
I haven't, but it's a personal choice. I'm pretty patient and prepared to wait for a Switch XL or full on Switch v.2

It boggles my mind that this has held the value so well considering it’s age. I still haven’t pulled the trigger to buy one..😩
    iTisYaBoiii's avatar
It probably will stay like this until the next gen comes around
  15. samsun's avatar
Game not included. Just special edition console
  16. radvan's avatar
Silly question, but where is the best place to buy physical games for switch?
    Maaark's avatar
If you're not in a rush, maybe get a wishlist going and set alerts on this site? People are fab on here for posting deals and over a period of months, most games will be available on some sort of offer from somewhere. (I think I've pretty much bought every game I own after seeing a deal posted on this site.)

I'd definitely set a "Nintendo switch" alert though either way . (edited)

Does anyone expect a better deal on a prime day? Thanks
