How as no one heard of this game!? Wow

Snakeyes646

I can't see them changing their mind tbh, don't tend to tell ppl what they want to hear and take no actual action...

Kidd7

About cross play? They say they're "looking into it". Hopefully they change their stance as media/devs press the issue.

Snakeyes646

It's fun with mates

TheWaffling_Gamer

The game is absolute pants. I don't get the craze!

Apparently you can no longer get digital codes from Amazon Japan, so your are left with Play-Asia or JapanCodeSupply. These are usually more expensive and so the price given above does not apply. If you managed to get credit onto your account when it was available, this is a good deal but most people might not have managed this. So I will expired this deal ;(

Felicitous

I do like to look at that brightside usually, think I only played for a couple months, should revisit it one day , wish nintendo would add folders to switch though so i could organise my digital games

TightFistedGit

Nintendo servers are currently down for about 3 hours. http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2018/09/switch_eshop_maintenance_scheduled_for_this_evening_nintendo_online_service_ready_to_go

Well, you got a year of enjoyment from it rather than having to wait for a discount. :)

Felicitous

I tried the demo for this like a year ago, liked it so much actually paid about £40 for it at the time, regretting this now of course as it's about a 48% discount, have heat

Once I learned about the NTSC/PAL differences I've always struggled to use PAL since. It's crazy, in the case of many Megadrive games, the games on the cart are literally identical, just controlled by the console. I put a 60hz switch in my Megadrive and you can flip them on the fly, it's crazy the difference it makes.

MarkToTheMax

You'll feel you've been conned your whole life haha.

D0minic

Yeah I need to check that out it's crazy as I grew up on sonic 1 for years!!

MarkToTheMax

NTSC is around 17% faster than the pal games. USA and Japan was 60 Hz so obviously the developers had that in mind when they made it and then they do the optimisation for pal which was why we often got later releases. It really depended how well the developers make it. Bad optimised 50hz games resulted, black borders top and bottom, music is slower. Pal Crash bandicoot was really close to NTSC because they optimise it really well. And then there's sonic the hedgehog 1, the pal version was horrendous, there's a YouTube video showing it. But basically yeah, your Mario 64 was the slower version, but it was optimised to an acceptable standard (at the time).

D0minic

I only ever played mario 64 back in the day in the 90s so I guess I've only ever played the 50hz version which had slowdown?

Oh sorry my mistake. They are giving away Nintendo switch for free as long you purchase a game for 89p before 22/9/18. There will be a voucher included for free case, 128gb micro sd card, screen protector, extra doc, 2 extra controllers, and lifetime membership to online service. But they will add a few other freebies later next month to sweeten the deal a bit more for those who are unhappy. (y) 🏻

The Switch version won't offer any real differences, but the PS4/Xbox ones will with the final installment of The Journey.

pianist30

Switch games like the Wii/Wii U versions are stripped down aren't they? Even if not, it's FIFA. A game which receives token changes year on year and offers no actual improvements. Unfortunately having a young boy, I will undoubtedly be asked for this for Christmas despite being the same as FIFA 18 and 17 and 16, with a few team changes and player transfers. At least the F1 games feature new or revisited tracks pretty much year on year and there arw actual changes and improvements.

Pandarino

Just buy Fifa 18 for 3p. Or for the full switch experience, buy Fifa 13 for the 360 as I'm sure it's the same game. (Not switch hate... EA hate)

jamie015

Heat, cheap price and buying from the Russian eShop is so damn easy! I'm going to get the PS4 version as I mainly want The Journey - CL doesn't bother me enough to buy FIFA 19 just for that. If I can pick up this for around £20-25 in the next few months I'll be happy (hope it drops to £25 on Black Friday)!

cactusbrandy

No. No it won't.

Still can not grasp you’ve lost? You played yourself. Good game. Well played. EZ.

AVguy18

No thanks, I'm good, I'll just stay smug knowing what was inevitable from the start was proved eventually. Bye bye.

CABellamy

You still keep missing the point entirely. I’m fed up of trying to explain it to you. So I won’t bother anymore. Just go back and reread my comments again.

AVguy18

Right, I didn't want to make you too salty before and point out that none of the free to play games had the disclaimer underneath that other online games had on the eshop, seeing as the massive "Play Free" in the trailer wasn't clear enough to you, I figured you also would find it far too difficult to comprehend.

CABellamy

It appears you still don’t know what conjecture means. But I’ll leave you to your ignorance. Good day.

This was my first Zelda game and as I had no frame of reference I enjoyed it. I’ve since played others and would still agree motion wasn’t the way to go. But at that moment in time it worked. Game is too long to enjoy it again. I’d play without motion control on switch though if it was remastered for definite

b3mike

while the game itself was great it was really hindered by the poor motion controls. even the controls in the force unleashed games were more responsive

haywiz

PLZ Nintendo REMASTER SOME OLD ZELDAS..

heathenmagic

Yes I remember that yes I wasn't keen on that one so much. Though I did rebuy Wii U version (though it is still in my pile of shame haha). I think it was just the Gamecube version with motion tacked on. I haven't tried VR yet. Hoping to get a PS4 (yes very late to the party ha) and might get a chance to give it a go. Good motion controls and if they suit your play style too, can draw you into the game more. I see they sell Move controller for it now so must be getting more popular with VR.

Did you ask yourself if those free versions are legal???? I doubt, and your reaction is typical from someone that never created anything in his life that he would commercialise and earn money from.

cactusbrandy

Plenty of N64 emulators flat out don't work well. N64 Virtual Console versions pretty much perfect. And so what if things are easy to find, doesn't make it any less right or wrong.

Knightsbane

I dont know what youve been running emulators on, but bodged together? I had emulators running perfectly on a psp years ago, It ran Sega, Nintendo ps1 and neo geo fine, and yes i did own most of the games I downloaded on it, they run great on my phone. Not everyone is downloading illegally, some people just want a digital copy of what they have in the loft, besides I said this on another comment but you can get emulators and games widely and free for so many device's just by using Google, no vpn no dodgy websites

Knightsbane

What kind of reaction? Perhaps you have plenty of spare income to waste, so why are you on here? £3.77 or £6.99 is still a lot for relatively doing nothing to a 20odd year old game, SNK went bankrupt years ago, all the current licence holder has done is rip off a open-source emulator and do a few tweaks to run correctly on the switch. Your saying £7 is a good price yet i bet you didnt buy any at that price. As you mension downloading legally, SNK sell some of these on android some free with ads, then priced between 99p and 3.99. But these are still widely available freely on the net, and you don't have to use fake vpns or go on dodgy websites. Just Google.

Nintendo are so crafty with this particular sale...get the kids to get a couple of new online games right before switching off the free online. It's really going to be interesting to see how well Nintendo sell this 'service'...I guess we would have learned about it today...imagine the direct will be next week now. Be a tough sell even if it is cheaper when you consider the majority of switch owners have it as a secondary console.

Recently been patched (literally 2 days after my comment) and matchmaking is vastly improved.
