For example, if you switch to US eShop to redeem a $50 US eShop card, then use that to purchase a $49.99 game. There 2 things you can do, change the region on your account or make multiple accounts (one in each region you buy from), which ever way you do it all accounts on that Switch can play everything. The only downside I think is that eShop credit is lost if you swap region, but I just buy with a card each time. I've left my main account set to South Africa for the last few months as most stuff is cheaper on there and I much prefer having everything digital so it's all in one place.

Impossible! It just splits your screen into two horizontally.

This seems like it might be the place to ask this question as the post and …This seems like it might be the place to ask this question as the post and comments mention games availability, so hope someone can help. I like the idea of the Switch as I am not a gamer and fancy playing amusing looking graphics and physically moving around a bit with the kids, rather than staring at highly detailed movie-like scenes and sitting with a controller bashing buttons (this is based on me playing Street Fighter as a kid by the way!). We have terrible internet so online gaming, streaming and downloading are not worthwhile. Does/will the Switch have a good range of physical games that we can buy and play, I have only seen the same 5/6 in shops?

I don't mind the mynintendo rewards. Had some decent discounts on some games. Most recently Zelda a link between two worlds for under a tenner. I did like accruing the points for club Nintendo and used to do it all in bulk. Cheapest price it's been on the eShop, as part of the greater eShop New Years Sale.

No, when I go into just for you it says that I don't have any offers.

Constantly baffled by Nintendo and their various clubs/logins. I should probably make more effort but it's so easy to give up... until the next time, by which time Nintendo have usually (or appear to have) chucked everything out and started again.

Many, many moons ago the WiiU was set up for my daughter to use. Think that's the basis of my problems. The main account (with credit) has some parental restrictions, and no way, that I'm aware of at least, of removing it.

Anyhoo, I've just been bounced back from PC to change a setting on the WiiU to allow me to log in on the PC, only to log in on the PC and be told that I can't and need to set up another guardian account (which I have) with no explanation about how that's supposed to link back to the Wii U or what I'm supposed to do with either of them, or even whether the child account has been linked or the details it insisted I provide has created a new one.

Should just have bought the game second hand from CEX but I've got enough credit and prefer to buy online on the PS4 and Xbox.

Oh I don’t think it’s a moral issue. There is nothing wrong in my eyes with buying from another country. I wouldn’t even say it comes close the grey markets in being sketchy where you buy keys from unknown sources.

It’s more of a nice thought that you are contributing the UK games industry, which could positively affect further support.

I have this on Vita and could easily be tempted to buy the new Switch version. It's a really great game with a wonderful steam punk sci-fi universe, and a quirky and witty style. I've never considered myself a turn-based fan but this is very accessible.

Steamworld games are my 11yo son's favourite game series, he loves Heist. Bargain price!

Yeah I just had a look at the game on Steam. Looks sort of interesting (I enjoyed Dig) but the synopsis is a little odd.

"Inspired by classics like XCOM and Worms, SteamWorld Heist is turn-based strategy with a twist: You manually aim the guns of your robots"

Manually aim like you have been able to in Worms for the last 20+ years ... hardly a twist.

Still if it ever drops this low on Steam I might give it a go.

Not sure if this has already been posted but seems like a great price for a classic remade for 3DS.

I like Sonic, but never found this was ideal for 3DS. Sonic plays so fast for such a small screen (and that's a 3DS XL screen). If you haven't already got the NES Super Mario Bros 1/2/3 games, then they are a sound purchase for nostalgia and fun. They play well on the 3DS and benefit greatly from the save game at any time feature. They are always available at about £3 - £4.50 each on Eshop.
