I have this saddle I paid around 12 pound it says in the description it’s chromoly rail and I also have a charge spoon which has chromoly rails also and very similar shape and padding levels,but the Nuke proof saddle is a lot heavier as I believe chain reaction cycles is telling porkys and the rails are not chromoly but basic high tensile steel I’d say this is 60-70 grams heavier than the charge spoon and it certainly is not as comfortable with less flex on the rear end than the spoon.Howether I would recommend the brand X seatoost that costs around a tenner and is very high quality I’ve purchased the 27.2 version and use a wedge in the frame to reduce it from 31.6 to 27.2 which gives some natural flex.

Is it though?
Have you measured your sitbones?
The size of your ass is not a good indicator of sitbone width and therefore not relevant to saddle width.

Anyone recommend a suspension seatpost (not a dropper!) to go with this?

I have used a few, any cheap branded one is fine, I usually get them for a tenner on eBay.
