Just to note I’m 44 and regularly go to this…they aren’t bothered about your age!

This has been going for years. Cold. Useless.

    Go on, I’ll bite.
Going for years - OP is raising awareness for anyone who doesn’t know.
Cold? Why? Massive saving on the usual cinema price.
Useless? Why? Aren’t you old enough to qualify?

Just because it’s not good for you, doesn’t mean it’s not good for anyone.

I’m excited to see what amazing deal you post…ever…

Absolutely hopeless on a mobile phone. Maybe their app or normal webpage is better. Shocking though

If you identify as popcorn then I’m sure they’ll let someone walk in with you

I didn't know about this so heat added. Do they wake you up at the end of the movie ?

They do this at our local Parkway cinema on a Tuesday morning .lts a very good idea for older people to get out and socialise for a good price ,and it's very well attended you also get some films on that because they are not blockbusters would normally never have been shown .

There's no way my Dad would even contemplate paying to go and see a film called "Women Talking" ...... I can just hear him now saying I get enough of that with you and your Mum thanks!

About 20-ish years ago, while I was at Uni, I accidentally went to one of these without realising.. I walked in to find a sea of grey hair. It was mostly full though, and at least they were all nice and quiet during the film (edited)

Turned 60 recently - this would be good, if our local Odeon hadn't closed. Only got Cineworld, now.

Please tell me you're kidding, I also turned 60 recently but it's going to be at least a couple of decades before the thought of tea and a biscuit before a film becomes an attractive proposition.

Good deal and we do keep an eye on what's on at our local, though it is only £5 normally (Basingstoke). Couldn't believe what was charged at Bournemouth for one adult and a child recently, £32! (edited)

Serving tea & coffee to the silvers BEFORE a 2hour+ film is absolute LOOnacy!!!

Bring back the interval I say
    BengalKitty's avatar
At the Odeon in Norwich the coffee is undrinkable, instant rubbish, so no dash to the loo for me!

    If I identify as a 60+, am I eligible?
  20. Caz1000's avatar
They must have recently actually increased the age from 55 as my neighbour used to go pre covid when she turned 55. So less of a deal then than 4 years ago

I’m 44 and I go, they aren’t bothered about age
