sorted byIf you're lucky you'll only end up on the floor holding piece of architrave in your mouth.
If you're unlucky caulk will crack around architrave, plasterboard might too, MDF door casing will be loose, door will not shut properly ever again. (edited)

As someone who's used one extensively, and without damage, I think that the health/strength benefit from ease of access comes out on top here.

Yes, my doorframe broke and my cousin fell on his back many years ago. Luckily nothing happened to him. I quickly threw away product. Such product should be banned.
I know someone who broke their back using one of these types of pull up bars! (edited)

The top is pushing down on both sides of the door frame.

I have a fitness tower as well but prefer the doorway fitted pull-up bar as it doesn't wobble and feels more solid.
