For £424, I hope this watch fires lasers to get people out of your way when you are running
There are usually 5s on Amazon warehouse for the £360 if you want to take a chance, you always have 30 days to return it.
I managed to get a 5 new for £380 from Amazon France but I returned it as I preferred my 3HR and would say its not a worthy upgrade but it is a good watch if you dont already have the 3HR.
Blacks price match might work on this? Is there a 10pc code for Blacks knocking around too?

Os maps are about £4 near me as the local outdoors shop is closing down (well it has been for the last 12 months)
You will get more for them on eBay. If they are fairly new people will buy them to use and if they are really old people collect them. Also buying them direct is the most expensive way of getting them. Blacks were doing almost half price on the new maps with digital download around Christmas and new year. Sorry voted cold.

Just buy UK Atlas on Android. One-off payment gives 1:25k, 1:50k and other scales. No recurring charge. OS up to date? You've got to be joking. They're at least 5 years out of date for my area. Ice ages will have come and gone before OS update their maps.
Also need these for planning apps when looking to extend houses I think.. Local councils charge a tenner per map sheet
Cheers op. Didn't know about this. The annual sub of 17.95 might be worth considering for those who walk a lot.
Fantastic deal - when planning walks it is really useful to have access to these maps - ignore the 'sat-nav' brigade .. they probably never walk anywhere!
Those retro paper things save lives when batteries fail. Well they do if you learn how to read them and use a compass.

I'm not sure about handing over my card details for a "free" offer. How … I'm not sure about handing over my card details for a "free" offer. How do I know at the end of three months they won't just debit my card for a full subscription?

I doesn`t ask you for card details. I didn`t want to do it either, I`ve tried and it worked without giving them card details

Sometimes nothing beats the convenience of a proper paper map (voted hot) but I also use my android phone with an app called RMaps which not only sources map tiles online from multimap.com (OS maps), but also allows you to use offline maps generated with Mobile Atlas Creator. Very useful when you're out of data reception range. RMaps also allows you to log your location so you can geotag photos later.
Just use bing maps. OS mapping is shown on there.
Thanks for dash4it tip. I only actually needed one map, so got it from there instead - £5.31 inc delivery (rrp 7.99). Cheers all.

Opendata doesn't contain any rights of way, so are of limited use. You might be better off looking at Openstreetmap, or one of its many renders

seems like a good deal except its not really.just bought one 'active' … seems like a good deal except its not really.just bought one 'active' (laminated) for £9 on amazon (not sure if all maps are same price)2 x 14 = 28 for 3so £1 more than amazon.hmmmTL:DR amazon probably cheaper and can buy one with free delivery.

Not all maps are this cheap on Amazon, the ones I wanted were £6.99 each. At least with the OS site you can get all maps, unlike many other sites. If you only want the one map etc then get from other retailers such as Dash4it.co.uk etc

Actually a lot of their maps are more up to date than google maps. So … Actually a lot of their maps are more up to date than google maps. So what if a synagogue is where it shouldnt be!

Eh, correction. There isn't a synagogue where there should be one!
Actually a lot of their maps are more up to date than google maps. So what if a synagogue is where it shouldnt be!

Out of date? In what way?

As in ... anachronistic, ancient, antediluvian, antiquated, antique, archaic, bygone, dated, dead, dead and gone, dinosaur, discarded, disused, done for, dusty, extinct, fossil, gone, had it, has-been, horse and buggy, kaput, moldy, moth-eaten, obsolete, old, old-fashioned, old-hat, old-school, out-of-date, out-of-fashion, outmoded, outworn, passé, stale, superannuated, superseded, timeworn, unfashionable, worse for wear.

As I said, above, a synagogue is marked nearby me but became a block of flats about 20 years ago and Government office marked nearby on the map closed 25 years ago. And this is quite central London!

This service was launched on the morning of April 1st, wasn't it?

Excellent deal. these are top quality maps with great detail. I used to buy these for the area I was going to be doing hill walking and at £8 a pop they are worth it then. 3 for £16 is well worth it.
