    I prefer when the center of the mount plate has holes for screws down the middle so you can go directly into a stud. I know some people swear by toggle bolts into drywall/plasterboard but I just don’t trust them as the main way to attach the bracket. I guess it also depends where you want to mount as you don’t always have ideally placed studs.

    Can anyone tell me how far apart the holes on the wall need to be? Just moved into a house with existing holes.
