What's the best way to clean these large containers with small opening? Baby bottle disinfectant tablets?

For me, water only, boiling hot water when needed and occasionally, milton or other sterilising soloution. Keep lid clean and dry out between uses.

    ⚠️ WARNING ⚠️

If you ever manage to drop this or something directly on the lid, it’ll immediately crack, rendering this useless. The dome on the top of the cap presses into the lower portion of the cap. I’ve had this happen to two separate bottles now.

I had the same happen to me with my crystal classes, I was shocked, I'd got them as a wedding present, my new plastic ones are much better.. . Trust me dropping 2+ kilos of anything will seriously impact whatever container it is in, although I've no doubt this isn't as durable as something vastly more expensive.

Omg thank you for posting. I couldn't afford it at £4.68 and now I can finally afford it at £4.45. those 23p are going into my son's university fund

It is the cheapest I could find with a quick glance at eBay and Amazon. Seems like a good deal. Similar bottles £6-7 at Tesco and Wilko. Aldi had something similar for £4.49 earlier this year but out of stock. And this has free delivery with Prime. (edited)

Haha.. yea not sure what the 'real' price is.. for £4.45 its an easy keep it in the gym bag bottle, or spare in the car. £10.99 on phd's own website.

Yeah these bottles are usually around a tenner, always handy to keep one around tbf.

An article on Google reckons that most reusable water bottles are harboring as much bacteria as a dogs bowl due to inadequate cleaning

I mean, I would at least quote the source and not "Google"

Retail almost £10.99 on phd's own website, so take what you want from that. If you can find it cheaper please post. Usually £6+ for something of this size, no doubt you could wash out old milk bottles and use them if you wanted something cheaper.

These double up well as tent toilets. It's rubbish when you fill the wine bottle but still need to continue
