    I bought this yesterday, and it didn't turn on at all as it was faulty. The jug is very small, and light weight plastic. Very poorly made.

    I wouldn't bother, 450 watts of power will be unable to blend a lot of things.

    More power doesn't always means that it is going to be better.
    Look at the kitchenaid mixers for example - I think all of them got only 300w and going to be much better than my chinese "no-name" that's got 1200w
    But yes, 450w is not a lot for a blender
