Now that the Nespresso machines have become really expensive, this is probably a good option if you want to use Nespresso pods, including the compatible ones from Illy, Lavazza, LOR etc.

I guess now there are so many compatible pods, Nestle can't rely on pod sales to subsidise the machine purchase so they have 1. doubled the prices of the Nespresso original machines and 2. introduced the completely different pod Nespresso Vertuo machines where there are no third-party pods - for now.

I bought this machine 3 months ago and it’s fantastic. The double sized L’Or capsules are great and taste better than the Nespresso Starbucks capsules.

The Aldi machine is terrible. I bought it last time round for £60 and took it back after a month due to it leaking, checked the reviews online and tonnes of people saying the same thing.. the water tank is cheap thin plastic and does not stand up to daily use.

This machine is brilliant but it's the same price on L'or website and you can buy a bundle with capsules plus get discount on future capsule order with them.
