    Does seem to be a pretty good price, perhaps a reaction to the F6 release. Im going to look at some comparisons, but at half the price, i might go for this.

    Any advice? Im trying to upgrade from a oneplus 8 pro which is actually still pretty good.

    Really decent phone for the money - All the features to make it one of the best mid rangers out there -
    12gb ram, huge storage, 67w charging with charger included i believe, 120hz refresh, stereo speakers, pretty light & compact, almost bezeless

    Basically one of the best priced Poco phones released - Think it now has Android 14 as well

    I bought this phone from Xiaomi a couple of weeks back, it was on offer for about £165. Upgrades from note 9 Pro. Very happy with it, this is a good price direct from Amazon. Updated to HyperOS straight away, nice and responsive, loads of ram & storage and camera seems fine to me too. Camera lenses are BIG and sticky out a fair bit, the included case has a rim that stops them getting scratched (hopefully).

    In the market for a new phone and was intending to buy the Samsung A55.

    Seeing this however makes me wonder why I'd want to pay nearly twice the price for a phone with a lesser spec.

    My priorities are screen quality and size (min 6.5), oled, battery life, fast charging and 120 refresh rate. The camera doest bother me, I seldom use it.

    Am I crazy to be still looking at the A55 over this? (edited)

    My Redmi Note 10 Pro I am using now ticks all of those boxes - And Xiaomi have quite a few more recent models that will as well. Those are pretty much the criteria I would use (never out my screen into 120HZ though (might only go to 90 I can't remember)

    This isn't much of an upgrade (apart from the additional RAM/storage) from your RN10P click. I sold my RN10P last year because 1/3/24 is your EOL (end of life) for software updates click.

    I did end up returning it though as I was intending to use this as a second device but couldn’t really justify it…

    Literally had my own Mi 10t lite do the same, lasted a long time. I've just changed to the Poco X6 5G, I don't need a fancy phone, this does the job.
