Differences between the different models

4315948_1.jpg
  • Polaroid Now+: easy controls
The appearance of the Polaroid Now+ isn't different from the Polaroid Now. You can easily control this camera with the shutter release button on the front of the camera, or you can turn the flash on or off with the flash button on the back. Use the self timer on the front if you like to take selfies. The Polaroid Now is the most extensive version of the Polaroid cameras, and you can easily connect it to your smartphone via the Polaroid app.

  • Polaroid Now+: 2 modes for far away and up close
Just like the basic model, the Polaroid Now+ has an autofocus system that's based on 2 lenses. The camera easily focuses both on objects up close or far away. Because the camera chooses the right lens automatically, you'll just have to focus on determining the frame. Thanks to this, you can take sharper photos

  • Polaroid Now+: set up with the Polaroid app
You can easily connect the Polaroid Now+ with your smartphone via the Polaroid app. Thanks to this, you'll have a lot of options for setting up your Polaroid camera according to your liking. Adjust the aperture and shutter speed with your phone to take portraits with a blurry background. In the special light paining mode, you can open the shutter for a longer time. You'll then draw with light. Don't forget to place your Polaroid on a stable surface or tripod.

Shrinkflation on the films too, used to be 10 per cart now just 8

    also isn't it about £1 / £1.5 per photo?

Seen this being reviewed on TV. Pictures were still terribly lacking compared to normal photos or digital prints.

Can only see complete TecnoPhobes using one of these nowadays.

I think it's meant to be for artsy/quirky shots. Kinda like a pinhole lens on a proper camera.

We always wanted a 21" colour TV, don't think I'd bother now

£99 for the camera (ouch!) and after you've put a couple of VERY expensive films through it it'll find its way to the back of a drawer until transferred to the recycling bin in a few years time.

These are still a thing? Is it like the vinyl resurgence but not as good?

It's a cool novelty to have instant photos but the price for the film is too high, nothing changed there.

These are novelty, I wouldn’t buy this if you want genuine Polaroid photos!

Here's a better video where you can actually see the product.

I still have the old Polaroid cameras but gave up once they changed the film formula as they were washed out and got stuck in the old cameras. I’ve still got some old film in my film chiller but it’s really a sunny day film and the price is too high now.

I now have a Fuji instax wide printer which I use to print my mobile pics. The instax cameras are fairly ugly so using my mobile works for me. If Fuji actually made a decent looking instax wide camera I’d buy it. (edited)
