Unless my memory is failing me, last time I went to Kew Gardens was in 1971 it cost 1p to get in. It was 3d before decimalisation and the price was rounded. It's gone up quite a bit since!

I lived in London for the first 27 years of my life and went t Kew a few times and must admit it was beautiful 5his and Hampton Court Palace are my top 2 attractions in London. I would highly recommend going to both if you have the time and money. I now live in Manchester so don't have easy access to these wonderful places. Heat 🔥 added.

I go go Kew Gardens every week. Could you recommend places to visit in London free of humans? I avoid people due to certain condition. My location is Acton Central. (edited)

Went to Wakehurst at the weekend for the first time, really lovely place to walk round with the kids and it's huge so we didn't even see it all.

It is no wonder so many people just do a part time job and then supplement their earning with different kinds of benefits and actually are better off than working full time ! but then again if you do a full time job and demand a reasonable salary the whole anti working class media is attacking you as to why you are so greedy !

Under 4 is free, otherwise they need a ticket.

Does anyone know if the £1 entry would also be applicable to anyone in receipt of JSA? Thank you.
