In short, it’s the e-bike that you’ll want to ride day-in, day-out.

Powerful Assistance, Tuned to You

The 250W hub-drive motor delivers three uncomplicated power modes for powerful pedal assistance up to 15, 20 and 25km/h, enabling you easily tune your ride to suit you. Its seamless power transition and low resistance are hallmarks of outstanding quality – always there, but never holding you back.

Easy Charging, Ready To Go

Flux One’s battery is extensively tested and can deliver up to 40km / 25mi of assistance on a full charge. When you do want to top it up at home or at work, simply remove it from its unlockable housing and take it with you. It’ll charge up to 80% in just three hours (and fully charge in five), meaning you’ll be going again in no time.

Safe and in Control

Whatever the conditions, Flux One delivers control to your fingertips, coming equipped with powerful disc brakes. Compared to traditional rim-style brakes, disc brakes offer more reliable stopping power in wet weather. Combined with the comfortable handlebars, you’ll always be in control no matter the situation.

The Lightest E-Bike in its Class

Worried about your e-bike being too heavy? Pure Flux One is light enough to be nimble and fun to ride, and easy to carry when you need it. It strikes the optimum balance for an e-bike of its type, bucking the trend with a class-leading 17.5kg weight.

More Grip. Less Punctures

From broken glass to thorns and potholes, hazards can lurk behind every corner. But Pure Flux One tackles this head-on. Carefully chosen for their combination of durability, puncture resistance and grip without feeling like a drag on the road, Flux One is fitted with tyres from high performance specialists, Maxxis.

I have one of these, paid £899 plus some quidco.
800 miles later i am still liking it.
best bike straight out of the box i have had, everything works and is of pretty good quality.
the battery is pretty unobtrusive, but easy to remove and replace.
some people don't like the saddle but i haven't suffered for it, i'm at the top end of the rider size, 1.93m and 95kg, but it works up hill and down dale.
only gripe, i am reasonably fit, the single speed belt drive tops out at 17mph, your legs peddle like billy oh! but no extra go! but curb your enthusiasm, and the trip to the shops or work, if you still have to do that, is a pleasure.

It would be better to get a cheaper road bike with gears and no battery.

That would be a great idea if what you wanted was a road bike. This is a bike with a motor and battery which the road bike wouldn't have. If I wanted a low cost ebike, I wouldn't buy one without a motor or battery.

i'm interested to see how things go "dont do that, do this" on this deal, surely if you have an equivalent deal, on a built bike with better or worse features, then your comments would be relevant.
Lardyboy posted what he thought was a good deal, i agreed with him, having actually owned one. the majority of people who are in the market for something like this the are unlikely to build their own super special, super fast and illegal bike. but want to ride comfortably to the shops, fancy a little easy commuting or just assist their ageing legs.
when commenting on an OP think "is what i have to say relevant"

i don't understand the hate for singlespeed, without a motor it's great, hardly any maintenance and you increase your fitness and leg strength. On this bike, it has a motor so even better! and that gates belt drive... i'm so jealous

I bought one of these last year from the shop that was closing down. I love it but would like a couple more mph but there doesn't seem a way of getting more out of it. I have also got a second battery which didn't cost me anything so that's a plus.

I had a diy electric bike before this full charge it would do 33mph but I wouldn't have another diy bike the last one could have killed me. The throttle stuck open twice luckily I wasn't on the bike at the time I hate to think what works have happened if I have been on the road or at a junction .

There is a speed limit on ebikes for a reason. For 33mph you need type approval, insurance, license plates and MOT.

Great price. I have one of these - it’s exactly the bike I needed at the time in terms of range and having the carbon gates drive. The other option I really wanted was the Vanmoof S3 (now the S4) but that’s a whole different league and price point to the Pure.

Gates Carbon Drive, nuff said. Brilliant bike.

No gears, so probably not much use if you live somewhere hilly.
    rik111's avatar
Thats why you have a motor doh...
  9. skipperjonce's avatar
7ah is tiny! 40km range if you don't use it for 20 of them
  10. Ar33s's avatar
Buy a used spesh rockhopper for 200 and a bafang 500w mid drive and battery for 600. And u got a much better bike. And much better than a 2k ebike (edited)
    pibpob's avatar
Of course that is a motorcycle for legal purposes.

Says frame is 21" would this be big enough for 6ft adult?
    Thanks
    mark.jonesXhL's avatar
i'm 6'3" its fine for me.

Good price if you're prepared to accept the limitations of battery size and single speed
    mark.jonesXhL's avatar
whilst i agree on the single speed, it does annoy at times.
on the flatish routes i take, 80km between recharges, though i do like to put the effort in and limit myself to power level 2, unless mister west wind is farting in my face.
  13. shnp's avatar
Can it go without peddling at all? What would the range be then?

The last hybrid bike I bought was an XL size - how does the size of this frame compare? I’m 6’2”. (edited)
    mattd555's avatar
    no, that would be illegal

Hmmm I have a specialized globe centrum but moved to somewhere a bit too hilly for me unless I really hammer it .. I love a single speed for the simplicity but a motor would help me not sweat to death on my ride home. Thanks

Brian you should convert your current bike!
