My opinion on this : The higher end of mountain biking at a fraction of the price. The picky will see the pricing reasons make sense and having built two of these frames up and having end budgets of £1,600 it is very easy to see the sheer value in this at sale price. I will post a pic of my twin builds for me and my close friend in the comments. NOTE I have no idea of the start and end time of this. I know the price was lowered and lowered again and then lowered to this now. I am pretty sure this will remain until stock is finished.

For those who don't know, CRC and Wiggle are part of the same company (somehow).

Specs and info :
The Marley 2.0 is a superb gateway into the world of modern hardtail mountain bike (MTB) riding. It features an alloy frame with slack geometry, a tapered head tube and 148mm Boost rear axle spacing gives a sublime balance of agility, dependability and strength at a low weight.

Getting you up the mountain, over the top and back down the other side, Ragley has equipped it with a Shimano Deore 10-Speed groupset with a wide-ranging 11-46T cassette and SRAM DB8 hydraulic disc brakes. RockShox Recon Silver forks with Remote Lockout (RL) and 130mm-travel keep your front wheel planted on rough and loose terrain while also offering additional comfort and control. It also rolls upon Nukeproof Neutron hubs laced into Tubeless Ready WTB ST i30 rims that are wrapped in high-grip Maxxis Minion tyres.

The Marley has become a classic: light, punchy and versatile. It might be your first bike to explore off-road or the agile plaything of a seasoned rider. Using 6061 alloy tubing, the Marley balances a stiff frame with enough compliance for the longest of days in the saddle.

Geometry is based firmly around fun with a 65.5-degree head angle keeping things stable and confidence-inspiring on the rough stuff. Elsewhere on the frame, the tick-boxes are checked; ISCG 05 chain guide tabs, a 44/56mm tapered head tube, internal dropper seat post compatibility and 148x12mm boost rear end.

Components are chosen for performance and reliability. A Shimano groupset and SRAM DB8 brakes, RockShox forks, Tubeless Ready wheels and the range-topping 3C EXO+ Maxxis tyres.

Up, down, along and over; the Marley proves a great riding all-rounder doesn’t have to break the bank.

That's not a lot of bike for a lot of money IMO.

The Recon fork, for example, is the lowest end fork Rock Shox do.
The only part of the "Shimano Deore 10-Speed groupset" that is actually Shimano is the shifter.

The Vitus Sentier 27.5" here has a significantly higher spec, plus dropper post, and it's nearly £100 cheaper. Or you can pick up the 29er if that's your preference for +£30 over the Marley

Incorrect on "recon = cheapest". They also do coil forks, silver tk etc. Unless they have stopped making them now but I haven't heard that. How much are those exact Recon to buy ? Sure, these Recon 130mm are the minimum you would want and expect.
The Sentier is a VERY nice bike.

In order it seems to be settling to (my opinion of the CRC in house brands)
    1. Nukeproof
    2. Ragley
    3. Vitus

But I agree, none of them are low quality. The newer Marley is now a 29". This frame was selling for £350 on it's own. The drivetrain is diverse too yes, but none of it is cheese.
However I have listed this bike because I saw it at this price and having built two, I have had a keen eye on the prices and doubt it will go lower than this but I could be wrong.

It's a good deal but I think the BigAl at £850 is the better one to go for just for the 29 wheels.
