I've used them a few times but can't recommend them after this experience. I would also ask how a fully tested machine, like yours, got past testing with a blue screen fault or the issues I had. This seems like a high volume, low price, quantity over quality setup.
At the time it wasnt a FHD screen so this looks like a better deal for the same money.
The first one I got had a badly marked screen and looked rough, the replacement has a very minor mark in the same area but was acceptable as it isn't visible in use.
There was no issue with replacing it and customer service was great.
It looks like the trackpad buttons can hit the screen when shut if squeezed so I have added some rubber buffers to the top of the display surround to prevent any repeat.
Other than that, it is a great little device.
If you are looking for a case, this one is a great fit...

Excellent price for a premium ultrabook that used to cost £1K brand new!
You won't get anything better brand new in this price range.
Heated.
So I ordered one. It said 160 Nectar points but I guess the multiples will come later?
EDIT eBay account is showing 2240 points, happy days!! (edited)

please be aware the supplied Windows image contains some dodgy Chrome redirection plugin. build yourself a Windows 11 USB installation disk and reinstall it from fresh. Microsoft have all the required drivers for it, so make sure you connect to the internet after the rebuild and ensure Windows Update completed 100%. it should take about 3 passes. microsoft.com/software-download/windows11
the BIOS and UEFI firmware may also need an upgrade - there's an automated tool on Lenovo's support page for the machine, which can be found under 'drivers'. pcsupport.lenovo.com/gb/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-x-series-laptops/thinkpad-x280-type-20kf-20ke/downloads
also, please note that Intel confirmed a Remote Elevation of Privilege bug (CVE-2017-5689, SA-00075) in its Management Technology on May 1, 2017. a lot of manufacturers are disabling it, and I have too via the BIOS. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_Active_Management_Technology (edited)
