Resident Evil 2: The Board Game
A viral outbreak. A city overrun with the infected. Night has fallen over Raccoon City, and a shroud of darkness hides the horrors within. But the undead are not the only predators in this forsaken place… Resident Evil comes to the tabletop for the first time in this nail-biting survival horror board game for 1–4 players. Based on the A-Side of the Resident Evil 2 video game, the board game challenges you to survive as one of four iconic characters: Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Ada Wong, or Robert Kendo. You’ll need to cooperate to stay alive. Together, fight tooth and nail to get past mutant enemies, solve puzzles, and make your desperate escape before it’s too late! In a city crawling with monsters, in-fighting will get you killed. If you want to stay among the survivors, you’ll need to make decisions together. Otherwise, you might fall prey to Lickers and Zombie Dogs.
Worse still, you may find yourself in the clutches of the terrifying G-Mutant or heavily mutated Birkin! Visit famous video game locations to complete scenario objectives and progress. Stay alert, and beware unexpected surprises. Search for clues and important items. And whatever you do, don’t run out of time!
Featuring all the explicit violence and gore of the video games, Resident Evil 2: The Board Game is an intense tabletop experience of true survival horror — with a hit of video game nostalgia to boot.

sorted by- Good price. It's a good board game, ideal for anyone that likes dungeon crawlers. You don't get quite enough in the base game for my liking though. I ended up buying all expensions in the end, which are now harder to find and can be a bit more expensive.
The RE3 board game runs a bit smoother, but too easy. This was way more challenging and tense so for me it was the better game overall. Helped by RE2 being my fav game in the series so I may be biased. - [deleted]You don't have to at all but a lot of people enjoy it. This was actually the first board game I ever painted and it made playing the campaign after more satisfying.
- I'm not fooled by the trailer, that looks terrible.Even with the top shelf voice acting and stellar reactions?
- I paid £200 for this KS, it’s a great deal at £48. Don’t buy to resell though, max it’s worth now is £60 (second hand market ~£30).
RE3 is better mechanically but I’ve never seen that go before £75.
Too slow for my liking but the theme is good.Yes RE3 is better, especially the board/tiles (brighter and more detailed).
I like the whole series though and Re1 board game is out soon. - Great game if you have someone to play the campaign with. The miniatures aren't colourised, so if you enjoy painting then that's a bonus. Don't need to paint them to enjoy the game.
- Do I need to have played Resident Evil 1 first?Funnily enough, the RE1 board game isn't out yet.
But RE3 is 😄
