Wrocław is a city on the Oder River in western Poland. It’s known for its Market Square, lined with elegant townhouses and featuring a modern fountain. Also on the square is the Gothic Old Town Hall, with its large astronomical clock. Nearby is the Panorama of Racławice, a painting depicting the 1794 battle for independence. The Centennial Hall auditorium, with its giant dome and tall spire, lies across the river.

Wroclaw is a very pretty and laid back city. The centre is pretty compact and so a couple of days is all you will need to see it all. The gnomes are a great pass time if you have kids with you - or even adults that want something a bit different.

The trams are great if you are heading out of town to see some of the sights - very cheap, reliable and prompt.

If you are looking at getting away for a few days try and make sure you are there on a Sunday for a great couple of hours wandering round the Świebodzki Bazaar - it is well worth the 15 minutes wander out of the city to see it. Here is a link - Świebodzki Bazaar | Shopping in Wrocław | Wroclaw (inyourpocket.com)

There is loads of decent eateries and bars around the main Town Square and in warmer months they all have tables outside. In October some still have the seating outside with covers round it and heaters.

This company is now being investigated due to their terrible customer services. Purchase with caution.

I have used Wizz more than 20 times, never had an issue tbh. I understand your concern, hopefully they will sort the customer service out.

It's ironic that the cost of the return flight to Poland is about the same as a return train ticket from London to Luton airport!

Fantastic city to visit, especially coming straight after the building site that is Poznan!
Doesn't matter what you pay for the flights, an extra £50 or £100 is nothing compared with what you'll pay for accommodation.
Get a good hotel deal, then pay whatever you need for the flights.
It's a beautiful city and well worth a visit for minimum of 2 or 3 nights. (edited)

It's just 2 hours flight. I usually use wizz going to Poland and the worst thing what I experienced is only delay but this a morning flight so it comes from Poland, Wrocław and fly back so shouldnt have any delay.

Thanks OP. Friend of mine wanted to go to Nuremberg albeit now and its £256 one way plus extras. So £10.96 to Poland in October is a steal.
You could pay that to park the car at the airport?
