Im looking at 1 Year SIM - Unlimited mins, Unlimited SMS & 10GB data every month for 12 months. One-off charge. £60.00

The wording on this is weird - is this like the older deal where you pay £60 one-off, renew each 12 months (at no cost) and that is all?

Unless things have changed, EE don't allow their MVNO companies access to Band 20. When I was with VirginMobile they then used EE and the signal was much worse than an EE customer would get.

Why do people keep banding this nonsense around. Pun intended. Band 20 the 800MHz band is the sloooowwwwww band. Operators (as confirmed by koda) push people onto the higher bands which operate at a much faster speed. Why do you think o2 is sloowwwww? because they seem to keep people on the low band.

Companies that pay for it can have it. 1p and cmlink use all bands. EE are doing themselves a big disadvantage if they use a slow band while competitors go on higher faster bands

But yet no one mentions band nr28 700 MHz on 5g. So allegedly they have no band 20 access cause no source quoted (just what koda said) but full access to 5g? No source provided. Band 3 and 7 are much better bands to go on. In fact EE’s base band is 1800Mhz which is not mega high so unless your in a very rural location have a 16th century place with 2ft walls or a cheap Chinese xiaomi phone with tinfoil as an antenna you should be fine.  (edited)

Also no Wifi calling yet, so a show stopper if you need it for good home coverage

Surprised people haven’t caught on to the Vodafone cashback deal. Just under £8 a month via redemption, 100GB 5G data plus unlimited mins & texts.

I bought 2 sims early April, one each for wife and I. Got the 5gb deal for £5pm. Having no problems at all. They have a fuller range on their website, currently for £40 upfront 12 month fee for 5gb data, unlimited mins and unlimited texts. (edited)

Starting my second month on RWG and it's a bit odd. They took the payment on 22nd and its 3pm on the 24th and bundle allowance is still the remaining of previous month. I had expected it to reset on the 22nd.

Edit they said it will reset on the 1st Sept. So it seems like I got the first week from 22nd July to 1st Sept for free. (edited)
