Got this about six months ago from Brand Alley when it came down to £50.

It’s a nice kettle but ultimately it’s just a kettle that does the same as any other. Aesthetically maybe a bit more striking than other kettles but even at £50 half price it’s still a bit steep

I can't help thinking that the soft opening lid is attempting to solve a problem that doesn't exist!

Price looks good - any ideas whether it's any good?

Excellent kettle... had one for years but finally started to leak at the bottom (very hard water here finally took it's toll)... would have gladly replaced with the same but couldn't find one below £100 at the time. It boils quickly and doesn't over boil, and having the gauge on the side is so much better than under the handle. (edited)

"seems like a great price". It's literally just a kettle. Shows how we've become accustomed to spending so much for what ultimately costs less than £7 to manufacture.
