With its narrow bezel and large immersive screen, the Tab S6 Lite not only brings you a bigger picture, but nails that modern, minimalistic design. Get it in Oxford Grey or Angora Blue. Write, sketch, annotate – that school project or work presentation has never been so easy. Samsung Note even converts your writing into text. Need to scribble the shopping list on the go? Just use the S Pen directly onto the black screen. Prepare to ramp up your family entertainment on the move. The whole clan can be fully immersed in the Tab S6 Lite’s large 10.4” display. The sound is just as impressive with two speakers engineered by AKG, featuring Dolby Atmos – so you’ll hear every moment in stunning detail. Galaxy Tab S6 Lite seamlessly syncs your Galaxy smartphone, so you never miss a call when it comes in. It also allows you to reply to urgent text messages, so you’re never out of the loop. It's only worth buying this tablet over the A7 or A8 if you need the stylus.

Otherwise just get the A7 or A8, which are cheaper, but otherwise nearly exactly the same.

Also note that there are two different versions of the Tab S6 lite, and it's hard to find out which you're getting from Amazon - the 2022 version has a somewhat better chip.

Reviews on Amazon suggest it's the 2022 version (SM-P613) but you're right in that it's probably safer to get it through Samsung.

The S6 Lite with 720g does have significantly better performance than the A8 (and blows the A7 of the water), especially with games. For multitasking; Dex and 4gb of RAM both make a big difference. For me it would just come down to how much you're willing to spend. (edited)

    This or Xiaomi Pad 5?

Snapdragon 860 is a lot faster, 120hz display and 128GB UFS 3.1 fast storage.
Not sure if the Samsung is still using the slow Emmc for storage.

Lovely little Dex tablet - 720g and pen is nice - being a 2022 model, it's likly that software support will be good (edited)

£203.15 at Samsung EPP if you have access to it.
+60 trade-in for any tablet. (edited)

The Samsung ones are definitely the refreshed Snapdragon 720g version as well. This prompted me to check the EPP and I just cancelled an order for the 128gb model for £269 which wasn't due for delivery for another week, and I've now bagged it for £228 for delivery tomorrow, winner! (edited)

Spend the extra 50 pounds and get the Xiaomi pad 5. Much better tablet if you don't mind paying a little extra.

Nice tablet, I've had it for a few years. Hasnt let me down. I bought the 4g version, so not always wifi dependant. Its fast and responsive even after much use. Occasionally used the desk function with a keyboard and mouse to make document work easier.
Pen, was useful for docusign type of work. Although you could use your finger.
Movies, has a glare when I'm in bright rooms, not sure if it's the screen protector or the cheaper lcd screen samsung used.
    Overall - 8/10 from me.

Samsung have the 128GB model for £239 on their website. Currys will price match this if you speak to an adviser over webchat (they give you a voucher).
