I'd wait for the like new at £599 to come back. Its been coming in and out if stock over the last few weeks.

Strange how giffgaff often sell the like new phones cheaper than other categories

The major Issues that the fold 3 Is having and the note camera module, bullet hole has put me off Samsung phones for good. Unfortunately I've experienced both.
These phones are failing with manufacturers issues but Samsung Is blaming the end user.
Class action lawsuits, aplenty happening in America.
Also the resale value on these fold phones is horrendous. (edited)

I will never buy another phone from Samsung let alone a fold. They are using a company called tmtfirst who is purposely damaging phones (look at reviews on Google, and trustpilot). They smashed my screen and sent it back thinking I didn’t have the recorded evidence of before and after. My insurance covered it in the end.

Samsung refused to do anything. (edited)

Dont buy a folding phone unless its like new.

These would still have warranty as they came out aug 2022.

Samsung also replace the inner screen protector one for free. Then it's meant to be about £25 a pop (I'm unsure on this figure someone quoted me this but they weren't working for Samsung).

I got a brand new unboxed model for £837. Was listed as pristine. But the warranty activated the date I first used it. So came with 2 years warranty.

I received my like new one for £599. It was like new apart from basic shipping box and generic USB C cable. Still getting used to the phone. I found after the first couple.of days, I've barely used the main inner screen.

I was the same when I tried a fold 3, I would use the outer screen a lot, and I ended up going back to a normal phone for the bigger screen!

for anybody thinking of buying a fold. if you have no need for a tablet then do not buy one. as people have said you wont use the inner screen.

Im actually the opposite I dont fold it cos i only use it as tiny tablet.

I know what you mean. I use the inner screen for media consumption more often than not.

For text and basic things I use the front screen. There could be days where its barely unfolded, which is rare (unless it's a full all work day).

But when the phone is unfolded, it's such a fun device to use. The whole 2 apps at a time, or two web browsers together, or youtube with a web browsers etc. It's the best thing ever and I don't regret buying it.

One major issue I have is the lack of 60fps video while on wide angle lens. That was a bummer to find out.

I find the outer screen too small to use, and use the phone as mini tablet no matter for what task.
Do think I can go back to a non folding phone.

I had same problem and didn't open it much so sold it and got flip 4 I don't regret it and it's nice to compare the 2 I do prefer the flip in size and weight .when its folded think its amazing and a Massive space saver (edited)
