I personally have this monitor and regret it, the "smart" OS part of the monitor makes it more a TV than a gaming monitor.

The default picture is not good and not bright, To make it look good for gaming I had to spend a few days between trial and error due not finding settings/reviews of this specific model (G70B) There's other version without the TV OS PART which is the G70A, you can easily find reviews and settings of it.

The mounting vesa part and the led ring at the back are a pain to put and take out

The Legs of the monitor are too long and wide and may interfere with your mouse/keyboard.

There's few settings only available without game mode on or just via hdmi

And to complete, the monitor started to experience less brightness and a dark spot in middle of the screen after around 8 months, with no apparent reason, monitor was always treated with care and brightness was set 17 of 50.

I would recommend to everyone to spend a bit more and buy another monitor instead, gigabyte m28u is the direct competitor of the Samsung G70B without the smart OS part.

Samsung did honour the warranty and fixed it, all the process was around 2 weeks but be aware that Samsung state they're not responsible of damage done in the transportation.

I bought this monitor from Currys in November and had to have it replaced in January. It started out well but then I started to get sync issues with the image flickering on and off and audio cutting out.

The replacement has worked fine for the last month but has now started to do similar again and doesn't even pick up the pc when I turn it on until I pull the DP cable out and plug it back in instead telling me an error has occurred.

PC Specs are more than capable

    I9-12900K
    32GB DDR5 Ram
    RTX 4090

I've also bought 3 different DP cables as well as the one supplied by Samsung themselves.

HDMI wasn't much better with it failing to pick up any of my Xbox 360, Xbox One S or PS4...

Even the smart app prime video started flickering on and off so independent from the pc.

Googling issues brings lots of other experiencing issues and there was even some talk of a class action lawsuit.

Personally I would prefer to return it for refund and get a different product but I'm over 30 days so it's a repair or replacement at the retailers decision.

Keep in mind this monitor with this name comes in two varieties. The 28 inch uses a different and inferior panel to the 32 inch version

Is the 32inch a good monitor, then? As this was tempting tbh but if the 32inch version's better I may go for that one
