    Is it quiet ?

Also it is air-cooled not iced up etc. Separate settings for fridge and freezer. Alarm if you leave open more than 2 minutes. Sits flush with the wall. Although the shelves are fixed so can't be moved but tons of room in both. I was surprised of what you can get in the freezer. Looks smaller but design of draws gets loads more in it. If I had paid £600 I would have been happy. Front is stainless but sides are a grey metallic paint. match. Hope this helps.

Yes you do have to screw the handles on. It is a part of the 600 series of Samsung freezers and they do the same one without the handles. However if you don't have the handles on it would leave screw holes where the screws go and no way to open it easily as when the door is shut it really is a good airtight seal.

Depends on size of your kitchen as black makes a small kitchen smaller (edited)

I've been looking at fridge freezers recently as a way of saving electricity and I would point out that this particular model is not great at 265kWh a year. I'm looking at a Bosch model that is larger and uses 165kWh.

Even though the Bosch fridge is nearly twice the price it would have saved money over the life of the fridge. So while it may seem like a good deal you you really need to look at the energy consumption and do a few simple sums to work out how much you will pay in the long term.

can you please let me know which Bosch model you meant? Thanks!

The one I was going to get was a Bosch Serie 6 KGE49AWCAG. I would be replacing an American style fridge freezer that uses about 700kWh a year! Going from 700 to 165 kWh saves saves about £150 a year at the current capped price, so a big saving for me.
The Bosch fridge freezer above is a 700mm width version but there are standard 600mm options I think. Most sellers allow you to search by energy rating, this is a C on the new system but do check the actual energy used as sometimes you get results using the old classification.

I can see your idea and great if it works but Bosch has been riding on its name for years. I personally think they are making cheaper products for the market. I think Samsung outdo Bosch every time.
I looked at many including bosch and Bosch looked so cheaply made nowadays. Have a good look at it first to make sure your happy with it's build (edited)

I would certainly agree agree the quality of Bosch is not what it used to be. My point was really to look at the energy consumption and the cost over time, fridges and freezers are on all the time and the differences in energy use between models is quite large so what looks like a good deal may not be over time.
