Propriety memory cards killed the Vita and PSP.

The last thing xbox should have done was propriety memory cards when they were already losing the console war.

I haven't even bought one of these and I own 3 series X consoles and 3 PS5 consoles. All my PS5s are kitted out each with 8gb (4gb internal) of additional memory. I use 2 x 4TB external ssds for my series Xs. It takes 3 to 5 mins to transfer a big game into the internal drive.

Wester digital is only £129. 99 from Amazon, no hoops to jump through and no worries if anything goes wrong

Got mine new and sealed for £70 incl. 3 months GPU off FB Marketplace and looking now (need another one already), they're still about that price. I wish someone would do a 4TB one though.52459209-vTCwr.jpg

I bought the WD for £129 from argos recently and i will be honest, they are still too expensive, i mean yes they have come way down in price as 2 years ago 1tb was £240, but now that i have one, it was much needed for my Series S, and now i have all the big games i wanted ready to play, MS2020, FMH5, FM8, SOT, SF, BL3, and few more......oh and as for the transfer speeds, my god, i moved MS2020 which is almost 150 gig over to this WD card in under 2 mins, it was stunning.

Oh and a little warning about the seagate ones, some of the early models will not reach the present 6.5gbbs of the WD, with their top speed being between 1.5/2gbps, so make i you buy this you check its speed, and if it is not 6gbps at min then refund it.

Oh and anyone who buy the WD one and then registers it's warrenty on the WD site, will get a 20% discount code to use on anything from WD, so i am hoping their PS5 storage goes on sale next week so i can grab a PS5 1tb and use the code.
