I dunno why people voted you cold for this deal, friend. Yes, of course if you get a recertified drive HDD it's cheaper (the linked WD item wasn't a SSD). Of course if you get just an internal drive it's cheaper. Never mind that you have to pick up an enclosure on top of what you paid. Of course if you get a 3.5" it's cheaper than this 2.5"

Only thing I'd add is you might be able to knock another £4 off if you go for the Luke Skywalker edition, that is also free delivery but no Prime. Seller is new so who knows, but worth a shot. Without your deal I wouldn't have found it, so thank you!

Awesome, hope you got that. It's no longer available so I think you got a great find of it worked out.

stupid question but i assume this works with pc fine? Like why is it targeted towards console users? I thought they'd just get NVMEs with heatsinks.

Not sure why it is targeted towards console users as those systems cannot play current gen games from such a drive - the drive is fine for PS4 and Xbox One games but not PS5/Series X/S games. The connectivity is USB 3.0 so as long as your PC can handle that you will be fine.

For me, 2TB is not enough as I find drives fill up in no time but each to their own as I appreciate not everyone hoards in the same way as me! (edited)

Could be the drive for you if you have data you don't want to lose and don't want cloud backup. HDDs are a known quantity and a mature technology and Fire Cuda drives come with insurance against data loss.

    Shame this is cold.
Not sure people get you're not just paying for a drive but a nice special edition.

If this floats your boat then it's a cracking deal.

I'm sure this is the same drive that is in the £84.99 2TB Seagate too, so compared to that this is a bargain.

Also other known brand 2TB are at least £4 more today.

As I understand it- these are FireCuda hybrid drives, soo- price is okay for 2TB

Good price although shame it's mechanical rather than SSD

    Shame it's 2TB and not 20TB, too.

Mechanical drives. 2tb is around £60-£65 so par price for the capacity. Not sure if the Marvel pics add any value?

Don't forget the RGB too, the identical drive is £84.99 in black.

Overpriced standard 2.5" SATA HDD. In an external sata to USB 3 enclosure. With a very expensive picture on it.

The pictureless version of the same drive is £84.99 with the RGB in black shell.

Other 2TB SATA HDD are £4+ more on Amazon than this drive.

It's advertised as USB 3.2 not USB 3.

The same drive without enclosure is £66 on Amazon.

Unless I'm missing something I don't understand the negativity towards this. (edited)

Expired as OOS but some variants still can be ordered with 3-7 month waiting time.
