This PC is overpriced and underwhelming for its specifications, offering only 8GB RAM, lacking USB-C ports, and equipped with a mere 256GB SSD.

There are many better and cheaper alternatives available, such as the Beelink Mini PC with a 6-core 12-thread AMD Ryzen5 5560U processor, with 16GB DDR4 RAM, a 500GB M.2 NVMe SSD, and with USB-C connectivity.

    Beelink 6 Cores 12 Threads AMD Ryzen5 5560U up to 4.0GHz Mini PC, 16GB DDR4 RAM 500GB M.2 NVMe SSD, SER5 Mini Computer, 4K@60Hz Triple Display, Wi-Fi6 BT5.2, Gaming/Home office/Programming : Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories (edited)

Would that blink be ok for running large excel files at same time? Don't do gaming so casual use and working from home using excel, thanks

Rather get something like this for £300 click.

Extremely underwhelming spec for the price, even compared to those N100 Ali Express mini PCs.

These are good pc desktops a lot better than buying all those old tech devices on Ebay.Hot.

Not sure I agree there is miles of difference against your described alternative.

These don't even have a usb-c port on front or back. I consequently wouldnt regard them as particularly modern or future proof. Just spotted the 'optival drive slot' too (no optical drive) wtf.

Likewise 8GB of ram sucks on a 'modern' machine (although presumably these are upgradeable...

m.2 mvne is a plus for sure. And CPU should be more energy efficient (edited)

if all you want is an office pc then this is ok,

    forget about upgrading

I mean you can upgrade the RAM or SSD just fine. You can probably add a SATA SSD or small HDD just fine too.

But adding a GPU? You will need to be v careful on the watt headroom (albeit it will need to be a SFF card anyway). CPU max TDP is 110w. So likely pointless/hopeless/'forget it', as you say (edited)

I need a "cheap and cheerful" desktop for use at home - no gaming.
    The thing is - I can get a refurbished 10th GEN i5, 16GB, 256GB NVME, Windows 11 Pro for £239.
So, OK, it's not 13th GEN, but would almost certainly be a better buy.
