    Lovely looking watch but:

    Bezel does not turn
    Does not Hack
    Cannot change straps
Nice looking coating but as and when it scratches / chips you can't really polish it out.

    Hence the price.

Just tried it - £84 is the correct price including tax, plus shipping. (edited)

Good find, but I cannot log into the amazon account in Japan

You need to create a new Amazon Japan account.

    No, only in Japan.

Mine arrived today, ordered on the day this deal was published.
It's a lot smaller than I normally purchase. the bezel doesn't rotate, but still a nice looking everyday timepiece.

In the age of smart watches (as I wear). There is something classy about an understated watch IMO.
Certainly something I would consider for events, interviews etc.

    Totally agree,
I saw an interview once with a Japanese operator of the bullet train, he was asked what he thought of the railway system in the UK, the interviewer expected him to mock and make fun of the antiquated European trains. The Japanese man instead talked of his dream of travelling on steam trains like the Orient Express and to enjoy the journey, speed and convenience is not alway important.
Electric cars are cool but a internal combustion engine has soul.

I placed an order from Amazon Japan a couple of months ago for a seiko watch (which was OOS when I ordered). Order arrived in around 3wks…

Oh how I wish this model didn't have a ridiculous integrated bracelet.

    Nice looking watch.
I started collecting with the old Seiko 5’s.

Made in China, why do you have to buy from Japan?

What's the msrp of this watch in the uk? (edited)

I wouldn't buy anything with that coating for daily wear, unlike bare steel finish you can't polish away scratches. Nice though

Off topic. Really wish I bought a 007 years ago, they're so expensive now.
    Cuong_Me's avatar
Me too. I remember it cost less than £1000 in Japan years ago

If it was 42mm I would be on over that!

Looks are mundane in my book. Way too formulaic.

Country of origin - China.. if Japanese companies that take pride in making quality products also start outsourcing to China, what becomes of quality as a concept anymore
  23. Helpful's avatar
As its not in stock in Japan, anyone know where it can be purchased from within the UK?
  24. dsuk's avatar
A smart watch will be in the bin after 5 years.

The SNKE03KC is the kind of watch you never really own your just looking after it for the next generation.

Got mine delivered yesterday, cost 79gbp Inc postage. It's smaller than i thought, I wore it for 4 hours, took it off and left by the bedside. The next day I see it not operating and the time it stopped was 23.50. So I now realise that it's an automatic, and will stop soon after you remove it. Other than that, I like it!
