Yes exactly, you can’t add other offers to extend so if you bought another 2 you cant get 12mths, when you add the cameras they know by the MAC address where it was sold from and what offer, so if on an annual doorbell plan you call them and they refund that pro rata and you get 6mths free Protect for all, after 6mths it reverts to their standard £8 mth or whatever annual plan they have so in effect you are saving a further £48 (6mths x £8 mth) that’s what makes it a great offer.

Same here, would like to know if all three would be included.

So , as I already have a ring doorbell and pay the 2 quid a month for it , I add these cameras and get 6 months subscription for free for both cameras and existing doorbell?

Well I have just checked my Protect account, I have bought 4 cameras from Costco and the Ring Pro 2 doorbell last week and it seems there is some doubling up going on, anyway I have free Protect now until July 2022 so not complaining (y)

Well you could say the same about any gemstone or gold but at least the genuine ones hold their value unlike this so-called "Tru brand" which is worthless.

@dolanduck I haven't heard of it

Nothing great about diamonds anyway lol, they're an ugly exercise in astoundingly good marketing.

There's nothing TRU about their diamonds but if want cheap and cheerful then good!

Seems a great price for this especially considering the diamond weight although I'm sure the £799 RRP is just a made up number. Just ordered for my wife's birthday. Lots of other d… Read more

I've still got one of these sat on my table. The non replaceable battery died after two and a half years. Now waiting for one of the newer ones before I replace.

Do you need someone to come round and set it up properly for you.....

Mine has poor wifi, it's not surprising as it's a low power device and outside walls are not good for signal. However it still works perfectly except on the echo show 5. I have seen lots of reports for they specific device. Works fine on our spots. Had to charge mine for the first time in 4 months the other day! It has been so useful to manage deliveries especially with a new born. Being able to drivers to leave packages when you are busy is very useful, as is controlling where it rings. We have a ring 2. I paid 59 with the chime during black Friday.

Nearly every case I've seen of people complaining about connections issues has been related to their own setup part of the problem is the people who expect it to work with their basic ISP provided router without having any signal issues especially when the router is not positioned near the doorbell. Most people I've seen resolve Wi-Fi problems by using a mesh system, I use a mesh system and have had no problems with my 2 ring doorbells and 2 stick-up cam's they never miss a thing and all have a very strong connection to the mesh. 3 or more mesh units provide much better whole home Wi-Fi coverage than a single ISP router is going to provide.
