They break after 6 months. I've had 4 replaced

Weird, I’ve had one for over 5 years and still going strong

So annoying they don't do actual electric duvets anymore

They were the best. Still got one although only half of it works!

Has anyone found the switch slider on this incredibly stiff. Have to push real hard to get it to budge to a different setting. Ordered from Asda a few months ago, maybe I just got a bad one? (edited)

As someone who owns one if these I really dont like it, for starters the controls dont have a sleep timer or auto off, you could have it running for days if you arent careful. Secondly its really common to lay on the part of the blanket where the electrical cable connects to the blanket - a massive chuck of plastic - super uncomfortable. For these two reasons I'd tell people to avoid this product.

Most electric blankets are exactly built exactly the same. I don't know any in this price range which have a timer on them. If you need one use one at the plug or better still, a wifi switch (this also lets you heat it remotely before you get in).

If the side connector bothers you you can flip the blanket upside down so that is at the feet part... dead easy and know that lots of people do that.

In short, blanket is typical design for an electric blanket and it's a good price delivered if someone is in the market for one.

We have just taken our Electric under blanket off until next winter. Got ours on a smart plug and ask Google to turn on 15 mins before bed time. Turn off 5 mins after getting in or we'd wake up an hour later cooked. With our smart plug app you can also set a timer if you wish. Must be the 5th winter we've used it and would never be without one.

I think this is our fourth winter since January 1st 2024 so you must have miscounted. We have one of these but with no sign of spring coming before August this year we may end up putting our back on the bed after a few weeks doing without it.

Just use a hot water bottle. Put in bed 30m before you get in. Job done!

Do they make one roughly 150 x 100cms?
