    Humour me, if there's no water involved, how do you stop the grit and dirt that's present scouring the paintwork by using this?

    Technique/you can't.

    Technique is that this is only for lightly dusty cars - like quick detailer usage.
    Also, use a dozen or more cloths & using the cloths in a way where the folded square is dragged and rolled up so that the square is uniformly dirty at the end of each pass.

    But see also: this is perhaps isn't for you if you've just corrected the paint and want to keep it tip top

    Yes, as a low effort wax and drying aid after washing properly. I certainly won't be using it for "washing" other than splodges of bird poo!

    I have always been wary of products like this. A car gets covered in dirt, dust, grime, whatever - surely using water-less cleaners like this just drags that stuff over the paintwork, scratching it.

    Update: Just read this on their website so it seems its only really useful if your car is already clean haha ...

    Personally wouldn't use it on the exterior, but it's been great on interior paintwork and door sills. Smells great too!
