    If you're going to an event, you can sit in a lounge and wait, usually furnished with a bar and/or food/snacks and a clean toilet, rather than having to queue for beer/bad food.

    Quality will depend on the lounge. I'd imagine the Sky lounges aren't particularly special, given how many people will have Sky, but I've not been to one. Some of the Premier Banking lounges in the past used to be excellent. Barclays had one at the O2 which was really good (free drinks and snacks and chocolate fountain), but alas, long gone, along with all the other Barclays Premier perks. The Amex lounge at the O2 is comfy and they restrict numbers, but it's comfy and the food and drink selection is good (though pretty much restaurant/bar price).

    Akin to airport lounges.

    3 venues covering London, the midlands and Yorkshire in one of the four countries that makes up the nation, sorry but that is not near most of us.
    Haven't voted but should really read coming to a trio of places in England.
