HOWEVER (here he goes)
The 4ks come with high bitrate Dolby vision video and Dolby True HD 7.1 audio (carried over from the blu rays) AND lots and lots of extras
MEANWHILE (calm down lad) the streaming version is low to mid-bit rate and varies based on internet speed and contention. The audio is Dolby Digital Plus which is better than DVD but below blu ray never mind 4k standards. And no extras.
So the choice depends on your wallet, your tech, your eyesight/earhear, your appetite for extras and your demand for optimal a/v/permanent access/physical ownership.
I see a 10 movie boxset coming at some stage.
I've got the first and not watched as its awful. So can't comment on PQ.
Best PQ is on St2 and ST6. They look outstanding. St3 and 4 see a dramatic loss of PQ.
But they are essential films. St5 is almost unwatchable as its such a poor film. Even so its still better then 1.
I'm Loosing count here
never really had a problem with the original movie myself but i think the Directors Edition would be the prefered version.
