    3k, damn.

    On this occasion, I would actually recommend waiting for next gen CPUs / GPUs if you're not needing an urgent upgrade.

    However, if you need a pc, this is probably the best you can get now (other than the RAM).

    Anybody who NEEDS a 4090 and a 14900KF isn't worried about £3k because they'd either be using it for business purposes or they're using it for personal use and have more money than sense

    You could wait... for a 5000 series GPU. As the AI stuff for Blackwell was shown last week. The typical Nvidia time scales based on previous times would be November-Jan window for the RTX launch.

    If you think 3k is expensive for this, wait till you see the next gen prices. They will be a good 20% high which would place the 5090 around 2200-2500 per card alone! Then the power bill lol
