Looks like a great deal but before I bite, how do people feel about fire safety with these greymarket chargers? (edited)
    dkl_uk's avatar
It's not grey market. Grey market is just an umbrella phrase for obtaining something that's available in your country, from another country, voiding warranty. It's a way for the company to shaft you despite you having the same product and simply saving some money.

Just because we don't know these Chinese brand names doesn't make them grey market or troublesome. People tend to forget at this point that most of the stuff we already buy comes from China.

This doesn't look like cheap tat to me. I'd buy it if I hadn't literally just bought a 200W version from Amazon this week.

Excellent charger, arrive last week, feels very solid and was able to charge my MS Surface latop 2, iPad and iPhone at full speed with no issues.

The realtime Wattage display is quite useful as well

Charging £3k of kit with a no-brand Chinese charger. Outstanding.

The similar Anker 140W charger costs £140. There's probably a reason for the price difference.

    Good luck.

Good deal and if aliexpress can be belived it's a decent product but I hate this trend with chargers where the advertise the combined output as if it's the total output when it's not. This is a 100w charger because it can only output that amount.
    Crossbow's avatar
If you look lower down the specs, it shows how much it can output if more than 1 port is used simultaneously, so it could be true...

Could I charge a steam deck + samsung S23 ultra at full speed at the same time?

Ive got a xbox controller + Sony xm5 too. I'd imagine those are a lower speed for charging.

Its a pain when I need to charge multiple stuff lol
    Alex_H's avatar
I cannot see PPS support mentioned so will charge a Steam Deck at max but not an S23 Ultra.

Sorry for the dumb question, but just want to confirm this is not a power bank, right? I've been looking for a power bank strong enough to power my Surface Pro 5 for ages. Does any kind soul around here knows of a good deal?
    sheffield788's avatar
100w power banks are expensive. Look at Anker 737 Power Bank on HUKD. That's a powerful one. Ugreen 100w power bank was posted recently, too.
Decent powerful power banks are expensive. Maybe you should stick to 60-65w instead? They are expensive too, but sometimes you may find a sale at about £30-40.
If you are after a powerful charger, too, this Anker is good value as a bundle. Maybe it helps: hotukdeals.com/deals/anker-power-bank-powercore-iii-elite-19200-60w-portable-charger-with-65w-pd-charger-piq-30-power-bank-bundle-4165871

WARNING- this is a UK retailer friendly site, and deals like this have the usual suspects chewing broken glass. Getting your GPU or high-tech charger from this outlet makes many vested interests very mad indeed, and they're gonna pay to have long 'editorials' here explaining why you shouldn't trust this outlet- guess why.

On a bargain site, it is ALWAYS "buyer beware". Do your homework, but know that vast majority of locally sourced sales are with outlets who LOVE to do over the customer, and 'ate competition (for obvious reasons). Given the current BOM, this is NOT "too cheap" for this type of charger. Which tells you everything about local prices.

    BOM?

I have three of these and they are excellent. Cool running and fast. Watching 100W going into my Anker power brick is very satisfying. I have placed several orders with this seller, without any problems.
    Crossbow's avatar
Thanks for that, could you please confirm if the power distribution outputs are true in any way at all, even with just 2 devices connected? Say with your power brick & another device drawing 30W?

I got mine but I am disappointed with it... It only goes up to 26 watts charging my Galaxy S23 ultra.
The phone supports 45 watts PD3 so I am gusiing it is not PD3 compliant... Poor!
    ZaGaZ's avatar
Yeah got a better cable and can charge the S23u at 45w now 😁 neat charger
  9. BrianButterfield's avatar
Cannot be bothered to make an account.... Why not just let you buy with Paypal and no account?
    Nesima's avatar
Because the Chinese government wants to scrape your personal indentifiable data.
  10. hassanm's avatar
If you have a samsung, this wont charge at full rate, also, wont charge from dead battery, it will only show the charging symbol. You'd have to attach it to a slow charger till you get 1% and then connect it to this fast charger to get 15w
    Fusion's avatar
    Charges mine no problem

My VPN blocks trackers so I had to go to the AliExpress site directly and search for this. I couldn't find it. What I could find was the same product but for £87.79.

Seems to be a loss leading strategy, providing you get the item you're looking at.

Edit: Added to basket, can't proceed past checkout as I'm stuck in a perpetual login loop that won't go past the username and password screen. (edited)

Does it charge fast a Google pixel 7 pro, if anyone has that combo? Thanks
    sheffield788's avatar
Your phone needs a PPS charger to charge at its max speed. Your phone charges at 23w pps. Comments on this deal suggest people are charging their latest Samsung phones at the right wattage/super fast charge. These phones require PPS as well. So if it charges theirs, it will charge yours. Perhaps read the comments here and ask those we use this for their Samsung phones.

Mine delivered today and it doesn't work!
    hamsterboy's avatar
48 is good, defo does the job, unfortunately it wouldn't work with the Xiaomi supercharge protocol, so it wouldn't pass through / measure the 'up to 55w' that their proprietary charger kicks out. The 58 supports everything, twice. There's absolutely no need for the number of decimal points it has, but it's so so flashy and shiny. Got mine Chinese seller on eBay for £34. I must have had half a dozen testers and spent twice as much on that lot as I did on the 58, I don't regret it, but it is pricey just to measure what it does.
  16. hotdealsuk1973's avatar
does this come with a usb cable too ? it probably doesn't i just wondered
    Iwantmytabletplease's avatar
    No usb cables
  17. popoyaya's avatar
    Just had this delivered.
It only charges my Huawei phone and tablet at 20W, half their maximum charge rate. Tested with various 100w USB cables and the official Huawei one.

That's with the USB-A sockets. The USB-C sockets are even worse, 10W max. (edited)

Arrived today, feels very well made and heavy for the price. Tested a few devices, MBA, Steamdeck, Galaxy buds, doesn't get hot and I like the live wattage display. Thanks OP.

Bit more expensive now but UK plug one was £26.40 so have pulled the trigger based on the reviews. It's only in the garden office so if it goes up in flames we'll be fine

I did exactly the same although I will be sleeping next to mine so let me know if your office gets char grilled

Can this charge a switch and power a raspberry pi 4 at the same time?
    Crossbow's avatar
Should easily in theory going from the charger info at Nintendo switchchargers.com/faq/ - best suited ones output at 15V/2.6A.
However, please read this thoroughly about 60-100W charger concerns switchchargers.com/saf…tch - original overdraw concerns that prompted that article reddit.com/r/N…ws/

For reference, the output specs for this particular charger are as follows...
    Type-C1 Output: 5V/3A; 9V/3A; 12V/3A; 15V/3A; 20V/5A (100W Max)
    Type-C2 Output: 5V/3A; 9V/3A; 12V/3A; 15V/3A; 20V/5A (100W Max)
    Type-C3 Output: 5V/3A; 9V/3A; 12V/3A; 15V/3A; 20V/5A (100W Max)
    USB-A1 Output: 5V/3A; 9V/3A; 12V/3A; 20V/3A (60W Max)
    USB-A2 Output: 5V/3A; 9V/3A; 12V/3A; 20V/3A (60W Max)

It would cool to have one of these with an upstream link to a computer to split power/data transfer.

If it had USB 3.2 speeds via USB-C and could output P.D. levels of power up to 100w that would be so cool.
  36. dwl99's avatar
