Bought two cameras recently. The tapo c210 and the decko 2k. Honestly tapo is much harder to install compared to the decko. With tapo you need to connect to the wifi of the camera to set it up and trust me it took about 10 trials and resets to get it to talk to my tp link deko mesh. Decko camera you download the app, connect the wifi, the app generates a qr code, you boot the camera, camera sees the qr code and boom is connected to the network. Amazing kit). The decko is cheaper and their cloudedge software is better than the tapo.

This Tapo was easy AF to install and update and use. No issues here.

Good cameras, bought a 256GB Micro SD card to go with mine, enough for 3 weeks of local storage.

Can I ask please which micro SD card that you went for? Thanks

Bought an older version. Very good quality & easy to install. App is great too. Would recommend 👌

As the camera supports up to 256GB Micro SD card - do I need to buy a 256GB Micro SD card or will a smaller storage just give me less time that it can look back at? Also which SD card is best for this type of camera? Thank you.

Smaller micro SD card will be fine. I bought the Samsung Evo Plus 128GB card that was posted on here recently. (edited)

Good camera but bought one of these 210 models on 26 November at the same price…where’s the deal?

Most places are £30 to £40 range for this. I voted hot because it's the best price now.

I think that this is better than the Amazon Blink cameras which has only cloud storage option.

Cant fault it. Easy to install. High res image… cant complain.

Seems to be this price almost all the time on Amazon since 2021. They're doing the usual misleading sale thing which everyone does. Getting kinda annoying now tbh, like it's been against the law to do this technique in stores for a few years now but it's never stopped online on places like Amazon

Only issue is you have to for subscription if you want motion detection

Really? that wasn't the case with the Kasa version, which I thought was pretty much the same?

Is it the decko one for £22.19 on amazon that you have? I hadn't heard of it before. It looks like a good deal.

I have just brought this , seems to be good. Is there any way to turn off motion notifications?

Do any of the TAPOs do continous recording or are they all triggered by motion only?
    Inked666's avatar
    This one does continuous recording
