Nice one OP! I'm on the 100GB offer but would have taken this if it was available

I have been with mobiles.co.uk for about 8 years now and apart from few glitches which you can resolve through customer service they have been excellent. (edited)

If it's more convenient, theyve been doing 200Gb on Black Fridays for a lower price than this

Same could be said about any provider. I've had problems with EE and O2, and only Vodafone provides the best service in my area... etc. etc.

Question on upgrades via mobiles.co.uk (i.e voda to voda):

It says I can upgrade from Vodafone to Vodafone. It also says I need to wait for my SIM (I currently have a vodafone e-sim). If I upgrade does the new sim card arrive with my current number already active? or is there a point in time where my existing number (pre-upgrade) goes offline?
I don't want there to be a point in time where my current number is not reachable as I need my line active at all times. With a normal upgrade via your existing provider this is not a problem.
Would appreciate confirmation on this please? Thanks.

A new sim will be sent out, but you can discard it. Your existing sim should remain working. Check that your new contract is showing on the app with your existing sim. If in doubt, just give mobiles.co.uk a quick call.

Beware, You get opted in automatically to "Secure Net" and mobiles.co.uk make no mention of this during the order. You have to disable this feature to avoid the £1.10 a month hidden charge.

Cheers op. Had the 100gb last year so paid the £3 extra a month to double data. Never went close to the 100gb but was always anxious about using it in case I started running out and needed authentication amount suddenly.
