sorted byYou need to go to this link sharewareonsale.com/s/f…unt
and register email to get a new code. I've just done that and now it works.
Thanks for the deal but it needs editing.
Says on the website:
"First, you need a FREE KeepSolid account. If you do not already have one, click here to go to KeepSolid's website and register a free account."
Appears to be only application for users on the free plan, regardless if it was a preregistered or a new user.
Hope this helps. (edited)
$24 dollars on stacksocial with code dn40
Amazon launched prime in Poland for 45pln (equivalent of £9) +30 days free trial. I needed VPN to stream content in Polish language but I strongly believe that all other stuff there can be watched in English without VPN. You can try and let know to everyone who may be interested. Use exactly same login and password that you using to your GB account. Just visit amazon.pl
Check out stack social, I paid around £10 for a lifetime subscription.
One-off £13 for lifetime sub of 15 simultaneous FastestVPN logins, where any one or all of those 15 simultaneous logins can be routers feeding multiple downstream devices.
Offer at fastestvpn.com/lif…eal less 10% discount code BFCM20
damn I took images of everything and hotukdeals just gonna delete my images like that
Yes. but in order to do so you either need to route all your traffic via the VPN by setting your router up to do so, Or add the KeepSolid app to the FireStick
(its a not in the Amazon store so you need to sideload it via the developer options)that is now in the Amazon StoreNeither option is that hard to do, and should not void any warranty, but there is always the risk of loading apps from a source other than the major App providers (Apple/Google or in the case Amazon) that there may be malicious content. i got 3 emails in first hour after signing up. changed email preferences in account settings & haven't received one since.
Edit: those that want to get lifetime license, i suggest waiting for black friday. I got mine for £9 though most of the time it can be had for around ~£18 (edited)
I’ve got both, and find that neither are 100% effective in all cases eg one will work for one site, but not another. Performance wise, number of locations etc, I’d say they’re roughly on a par for me.
The deal worked though
EDIT:
All sorted and works great. More than likely and overly eager user error, corrected by resetting WINSOCK and IP Stack which was pretty painless in the end. (edited)
I got lifetime access for £18 from this deal:
hotukdeals.com/dea…308
Please check your code and try again." ffs
I think this is a great vpn but it is not as good as Windscribe. Some users do question their logging policy so if privacy is something you are worried about stick to Windscribe.
As it is free nothing lost taking it for a test drive.
Contacted the mods to replace the link as I used to use SharewareonSale and it was full of adware and other crap.
Would advise signing up for a new account on KeepSolid's official website and ONLY using the 100%/giveaway discount code on the SharewareOnSale website. Not using the links that are on the SharewareOnSale website. (edited)
No. And there never will be a VPN that will always work for any given service.
Every VPN service will from time to time be blocked by the streaming companies. The streaming companies have contracts with the content makers that say where they can suppy that content to like all broadcasters. The streaming services have to try and block any use where they suspect their service is being used outside of an area where they are licenced for. If they don't they will get sued, or the content providers will not sell them future shows.
When the streaming companies think they can ID a server being used as a VPN point, they will block that server, and until the VPN service can change the servers IP then it will not work for any of that VPN services customers, In some sense a popular VPN is more likley to have issues, as more people will be using it to stream content.
VPN as a protocol helps you hide where you are coming from, encrypting and routing your traffic so it goes to a specific server, and your traffic appears to come out on to the internet from the place the server is and not where you are.
The streaming companies CAN still identify the location where the server that the traffic is coming from, by analysing that traffic, but it just isn't where you are.
So as an example if I set a VPN to look like I'm in East Coast USA to watch Netflix, My traffic is routed from the UK to the server in New York through a encrypted conenction, and then is sent onto the internet as normal from that server located in NY, so to Netflix it looks like I'm a customer in New York, not the UK.
Netflix investigate as they are seeing a lot of traffic going to one server, and while there are some cases where a lot of traffic may be going to a set server ( maybe a big university where all students are on the Uni's network and go through the Uni's firewalls) its not a normal pattern, so they block that servers IP.
Your VPN service is still working, you still have a secure connection to the East Coast USA, but Netflix's servers have been told that that particular IP is a VPN so you get the warning and Netflix will not allow their servers to send data to that server IP. You may still be able to watch Amazon or Hula or whatever if they have not yet blocked that IP, but not Netflix.
Until the VPN company get a new IP for the server it will remain blocked, and even if they change IP the "old" blocked IP will probalby remain blocked as a known VPN.
Most VPN companies have a range of IP's and different locations, so it usually easy enough as a customer to change to a new server either in the same location (with a different IP) , or move to new virtual location (so your traffic then comes out in Las Vegas, and resume streaming, but as has been said its just a cat and mouse game, as VPN exit points get found they get blocked by the streaming services.
.
Also bear in mind that these services also look at where you are appearing to be coming from, they may not be able to see your real location, but they know where the data is coming from / going to. So continuing my example my traffic is coming from New York, and there is some issue. I then change to Las Vegas and resume watching.
While Netflix can't see I'm in the UK, they can see that my account appeared to be in use in New York, then appeared to switch to be Las Vegas. After watching Netflix USA, I want to watch Netflix UK, so I turn off the VPN. There are a few reasons that an apparant location can change so far so quickly, but its not common.
NY to LV is about a 4 hour flight, or at least a full day or two drive, LV to the UK is a 10 hour flight, so if my traffic is coming from NY, then switches to LV for an hour, then to the UK thats a possible sign that there a VPN in use or there is account sharing, as its just not possible to move that far that quickly through normal use. Do it too often and your account may be flagged for unusual activity too, and that can get your blocked regardless of where you are. (edited)
Same, this is one of the best out there
Wondering if it might be worth putting a pause on the £2 a month I'm paying for that and giving this a whirl for more locations
Same, bought it for £15 and have been really great price/performance.
I am getting same error. Did you had any luck ?
I love this site and this community.
Use a VPN to spoof your location
Actually ... I have both and there's little to choose between them. Used Winscribe from '15-'18 and it was not as good as now.
One small difference in case it helps anyone - if I use Windscribe it unmounts my network shares, not sure why. No problem with VPNU. (edited)
Redeem code
I started the process again and it worked.
Can I try this on my laptop and then use it on my PC later? I assume "one account" means it can only be used one instance at a time?
This also just happened when I tried to extend my existing subscription beyond when it expires in January. Could it be for new accounts only or has it already expired? (it's a great VPN by the way!)
I got it to work.
