    How does this taste compared to another Irish one like Jamesons or Bushmills?

    I haven't tried this but judging from the type of whiskey I'd say it will be far better than bush or Jameson originals as they are both blended (about 45% of the bottle is grain whiskey made from corn)

    This is a pot still whiskey which is 100% barley (some unmalted) so if you are after more barley for your buck this is the one.

    However there is currently a deal posted on here for bushmills 10 at £23 a bottle. It's a single malt so 100% malted barley all made in the same distillery and aged 10 years and that I CAN vouch for the taste and value for money.

    However taste is subjective and no one is obligated to only opt for single malts and turn their nose up at other styles of whiskey.
