12TB is £159.99 so slightly cheaper per TB if you can afford the bigger size.
All WD drives above 8TB or more will be CMR - no sluggish SMR drives!

With £20 off until 27th May - so only £139.99 for the 12TB - not forgetting 8.5% TCB. (edited)

Just ordered the 12tb version and the price in the checkout was £129.99. TCB stated 10% too.

    Great deal, thanks for posting

Same for me, £129.99 at checkout. Quidco only 3.5% but better than nothing.

I bought the 12TB yesterday £129.99 plus 10% top cash back effectively less than £120 (edited)

Careful with reconditioned drives.... lifetime unknown. Usually firmware has been modified so true hours used can't be read!

Whats the difference between desktop and my book guys ?
    scoobeesnac's avatar
From what I understand the MyBooks have backup software, password protection and hardware encryption over the Elements Desktop drives.
