Another difficult one to work out, as the delivery only counts for one pack, and let's face it you aren't going to buy only six tiles. Each pack is £11.88 instead of £17.22, plus a… Read more

Yeah I had same with tiles I had for bathroom of same size, they weren't necessarily bowed in the middle, more that they bent ever so slightly in the corners. I would guess about half the tiles in every pack, but because I had bought end of line tiles I couldn't return them so used them as is. Doesn't look too bad, it's just if you want that completely flat finish with the grout, you won't get it. I think all the porcelain tiles of this size have the same problem
we spent ages looking for some tiles for the new porch, and were happy to push the boat out for whatever we liked seeing as we’d saved a fortune building the porch myself. as luck had it the only ones we both agreed on were these at £11 a box a few weeks ago. I’m considering them for the bathroom when I redo that in Spring. it’s good that there’s variation of pattern between the tiles, so they’re not all exactly the same
Purchased the similar Wickes Callika Mist Grey Porcelain Wall & Floor Tile 600 x 300mm last month all the tiles were bowed in the middle. You couldn't put two tiles together flat. If your planning on doing a brick pattern, it doesn't look the best
Yeah i like the look of the elements one and the bigger sheets in it. I'll check out the marmox and jackoboard ones cheers (y)
I'm shopping around now. I think that 'Elements' board is pretty expensive Best I can find for a 'recognised' name is Marmox boards at Insulation express. Or 'Jackoboard' at CDT. Insulation express don't sell boards individually. Doing my sums, suggests the Jackoboard is better value and also, some sizes, are available in 2.4mtr x .6 boards as opposed to what seems standard. On the other hand Marmox comes in 1.25 meter where as most are 1.2mtr I'm not sure yet if CDT charge for delivery, but I have a depot near me. I noticed an outfit called Pure adhesion have the fixings at a pretty good price. There is a similar product out there, a bit cheaper I think called 'Nassboard' - to be honest I think the stuff is all pretty much the same though (ie extruded polystyrene).
