    So I'm gonna shamelessly hijack this awesome controller thread to ask if anyone thinks there is the slightest chance of xbox bringing out an updated x series in the next 12 months.

    Microsoft's gaming CEO, Phil Spencer, claims they don't need a mid-gen update i.e. the X is already the Pro version to the S. However I've got to hope that decision doesn't extend to a 2 Tb model, as RockstarRobbo suggests, especially with SSD prices falling - we need storage not more power.

    Of course it could all be a smokescreen to make Sony fumble the PS5 Pro launch next year

    Not excusing the price but it does come with one physical advantage over the base controller. Rubber grips instead of textured plastic.

    This is my 4th controller and I don't even own a series X yet haha. Using one for Xbox One X, one for PC and one for Mac with Xbox cloud gaming. It's a nightmare to resync one with every device.

    Slightly off-topic but does anyone have a problem when playing(on pc) a non steam game (eg f1 on ea app) with steam open in the background? The controller (latest official Xbox controllers) goes a bit haywire until I shut down steam.
