Is this wireless charging please? Thanks
    tsd1984's avatar
12T Pro isn’t but that’s the one thing missing. Then again it can charge from 0-100% in 19 minutes with the supplied 120w charger and then last at least a day and a half so an acceptable concession imho!

12T Pro for £350 notes is a really good deal. I’ve had it for a matter of months as my work phone and it’s excellent pretty much across the board. Can’t immediately think of a complaint, it feels like a flagship phone and sometimes outperforms my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I recommend paying the extra money.
    tsd1984's avatar
Like most long-time Xiaomi users I’m always braced for the cameras to be subpar but on this occasion, I would say it just about matches my iPhone 13 Pro Max overall, though they have different strengths. For example, for 4K video I’d take the iPhone all day long. However, for daytime stills I reach for the 12T Pro with 200mp Ultra HD switched on instead.

Earlier this year I was helping set up an art exhibition and went around snapping photos of all the pieces (indoors with decent lighting). The artist and I compared photos with the ones he took with his mid-range DSLR and we both agreed that the 200mp UHD photos taken with the Xiaomi - my secondary phone - were better than his photos using a camera or my iPhone that cost about £1200 new. World class price for 12T Pro. Even better than the early bird price after selling the tablet it came with
    Burrow_Homes's avatar
    Does it have wireless charging?
  7. sam1970's avatar
so which is better..the 12T pro or the Pocco F4GT ...both for the same price £349?
  8. Harry_Osullivan's avatar
These phones are very good for the price it's a bargain. The 120w means it'll take 20-25 minutes to charge to 100% from 0.
    ashyt16turbo's avatar
I'm sure it's less than that. My 11 pro + never more than 20 mins.
But it's amazing how much charge it puts in over just 5 mins as it pumps in the full 120w.
Never do I worry about forgetting to charge my phone before going out now.
5 mins and it's done. Amazing.

Is it gonna be coupon based discount or already discounted? Curious if you could buy a coupon with MI points to further reduce the final price...
  12. LaurenceGough's avatar
What happened to the Xiaomi 12T Pro 12GB? They list it in the specs, as does GSM arena, but I cannot recall seeing it on Xiaomi's own store before? I guess they've just sold out or don't sell it in this country?
    Neostar's avatar
Yes that 12GB exists but not in UK, you can buy them on AliExpress

If you want to use the camera for video in 8K then you'll need the extra RAM plus a gimbal otherwise 4K and 1080p are decent-ish
  13. DigitalCode's avatar
Can anyone please confirm these Xiaomi phones come with Google play store pre installed ? Poco do I believe. Thanks in advance.
    paulmccre's avatar
All Xiaomi phones come with play store.
  14. HellriderUKDeals69's avatar
How are people finding the phone? Anyone coming from a Samsung, is the screen as good? I haven't opened mine yet.
    Stedoss's avatar
Pretty happy coming from my S20 FE. MIUI seems to be a lot better than when I used it on my POCO F3 at launch, which is good. Nothing immediately comes out as being annoying, apart from the odd UI difference/bug compared with OneUI, but I knew the software wasn't going to be as good anyways.
  15. tho_nee's avatar
Can someone suggest a tempered glass for the 12T pro?
    Neostar's avatar
Sure I use this one the Ibywind Screen Protector on my 12T Pro, it's a bit pricey but does the job perfectly

Enjoying it so far, but as of the most recent update it's added an app called Bouygues AppCloud that doesn't show in the app list and keeps installing various crappy games - any idea how to get free of the thing? (I've searched online, and it does seem to be a genuine Xiaomi bloatware install, but I can't figure out how to uninstall it.) (edited)
    HellriderUKDeals69's avatar
Try using ADB to uninstall. Use Google translate on this page dealabs.com/dis…549

Will this be available from midnight tonight?
All I got today was a card that said on the outside "You're my superstar" then on the inside "To Mummy, love Theo"

To take back father's Day and a 😁 on my face, i'll be treating myself with the 12T pro

    Great find
  18. bantuBantu's avatar
12T pro is a steal. Goes toe to toe with flagships at less than half the price.

    Exactly.

Enjoy your phones those new to Xiaomi devices. I think many of you will always buy them in the future now like lots on here.

Especially those who get 120W charging. Game changer!
    Feargal's avatar
Correct. Massive game changer and Samsung still think 25w is fast lol
  20. LyesLyes18's avatar
Is it worth it to pay £100 more for 12T Pro vs 12T?
    HellriderUKDeals69's avatar
It's £75 more if you compare it with the 256GB version. I would take the 12T Pro with a SD chipset over Mediatek Dimensity chip any day.
  21. pat0000's avatar
    it says £599 for me
    HellriderUKDeals69's avatar
    Correct
  22. DirtyQwerty's avatar
Worth noting if you are debating whether to go with one of these 12T's or a Poco that these will have better software support. 3 years OS & 4 years security patches for both 12T's.

Somehow managed to enter wrong address while rushing to complete my purchase

Xiaomi wouldn't/couldn't change it as it had been shipped, DPD informed me only the sender could change it, back and forth all morning yesterday.

Finally spoke to a helpful rep at DPD, simply had to download the app and change the delivery to a collection point, problem solved ! (although it was entirely of my own doing 😬)

The 12T Pro vs F4 GT is a tough choice for me, I wonder if it comes to whichever one I can snap up quickest!
    Feargal's avatar
Tempted more by the Poco, with extra ram, higher protection and a few other things plus everyone seems more obsessed with the 12T pro so more chance of getting the Poco.

Got the 11t pro for £340 for daughters present so deffo sending that back and getting 12t pro. Thanks

Colour never bothers me as you can just buy a case in the colour you want. Can never tell once a case is on.

That's true. I took my current phone out of the case recently and was surprised to find it was blue. Totally forgot

Have they sorted out the volume controls yet? I liked Xiaomi phones, great hardware for the money but the software let the phone down. One thing in particular that annoyed me, was that the notification and ring tones were on the same volume control, instead of being separate, like Samsung, Realme, etc, that's the reason I moved away from them. There were plenty of complaints of the Xiaomi forums about this so I wasn't alone in thinking this was a issue! (edited)
    this_is_fun's avatar

On a 12T Pro now. Press here for individual volume control after using side buttons

    50403261-qqHFU.jpg
Notifications and ringtone all on same slider though, if that's what you meant (edited)
