The main difference on the Amazon deal is that it has 6GB of ram. The one for sale on the Xiaomi site has 4GB.
Personally, I was drawn to the M5s being better than the M5. But the extra 2GB really makes you have to choose between the potential extra performance vs the better cameras and recording ability.

Oh, and if you're on a tight budget you can use PayPal credit on Xiaomi site to split the cost interest free over 10 months, whereas the Amazon deal only allows you to split it over 3 with interest payments
