I've got one of these and it's perfectly adequate for occasional use, certainly on a par with the ikea equivalent which is more than twice the price.

Desk chairs with that use the arms to attach the back to the seat are all total garbage. If you're on a budget get a proper office quality chair second hand off ebay.

Unless buying refurbished from a business seller you're likely going to be waiting a long time for one to come up that's a) local, because private sellers wont ship something that size and b) not trashed.

We got these for our 4/7 year olds and they're fine for that. No good for an adult

I doubt they'll last long to be honest. A chair of this low quality build would take quite a beating from kids. I hope yours lasts you a good while though.

As others have said chair is decent enough for the price paid. Wouldn't want to use it everyday to be for occasional use is ok. Bought it for my daughter and she does her homework on it. Previous one from Ikea gave her back ache.
