Me too, but they are £700-£800 a chair (yes I know that is obscene for a chair).

I have a similar one at work with a mesh back. Very comfy indeed

I had sometimes very similar. gets so sweaty and itchy.. I would definitely avoid. You basically get what you pay for here.

Does anyone have this chair?

When I am on the computer my back hardly ever touches the chair, If I sit with my back against it my arms would have to be straight out like a Zombie... Please show me a chair around this price with thick heavy duty padding (Not the kind that look thick but then got flat) and I will buy it.

Leather office chairs are the ultimate faux prestige product; cold in winter, hot and sticky in summer; what idiot buys one?? Mesh is ok, but I always worry about longevity of the material. Personally, I have a 20+ year old Heavy Duty Operators chair in fabric, rated at 120KG, even though I weigh a lot more; fabric is warm in the winter, and breathes enough that you dont feel sticky or too sweaty in the summer (even this summer). Yes, it has coffee, chocolate and the odd bloodstain that would wipe off of leather/pleather/plastic; but I would rather be comfortable than look like a boss.

I disagree. Mesh chairs are freezing in our office with Aircon. Prefer something with a solid back myself!

Be wary of shoes that are advertised as leather, even a good number of motorcycle boots which are meant to offer you safety can are made with bonded leather.

Think I would prefer faux material over glued scraps personally lol.

I'm sitting on this right now and it's fine. It is small and that's the reason I bought it as my office chair was too big for our dining room. I'm only 5'6 though.

Don’t buy this crap I thought it returned it. It’s sooo tiny it’s a child’s chair n very uncomfortable

Oh I wouldn’t take it down as it’s still a deal and some people will appreciate it I’m sure! Like I said it would be ideal for a guest in an office of something or even for a child to do homework on or something. I mean it’s cheap enough for that and they do look smart. But if you were planning on sitting on it to work for hours or something then stay away haha

I've forwarded this to whom have contacted requesting info exactly like this. Cheers mate, think I should take this down? Some people could still save some and purchase an office chair cushion...

I have this one currently and it’s the most uncomfortable chair I’ve ever owned! There’s no padding whatsoever so I’ve thrown some folded towels on it until my new chair arrives. This would be ok to maybe have for a guest to sit on for 20 minutes or something otherwise stay away!

Its not the price its that it is a badly designed item.

I feel comfortable sitting in the £69 brand new chair for hours and I do not see point paying 10 times more for a brand name

Agreed, And I seem to have deleted the other half of my message and never retyped it. All I am saying is these cheap gaming looking chairs look great but are not very good. You can get good second hand office chairs for not a lot or even simple ergo chairs for around the same price, agreed the HM are expensive but I am not saying buy those and they not for everyone any way. There is also the HM Mirra, these can also be had for a very good price on ebay or look on google for second hand office furniture places. In the end buy whatever you want was just trying to make you aware. As the old saying goes buy cheap buy twice.

Not everyone has £400 to spend on a chair. You're comparing apples to oranges. Of course a Herman miller or something would be better, but its a luxury. Something within the £50-100 range is fine for most people who are sat on the computer browsing hotukdeals

No need for links I can confirm these are bad. Had one myself, as did a mate. The will start to creak, the back will no longer go up straight and all around just very uncomfortable. As mentioned above invest in a good chair, it will pay for itself in the long run.

Staples Giuseppe Bonded Leather Executive Chair £93.67 @ Staples with code

Nevermind lol don't know why I bothered

Sorry to be that person. But I got this exact chair from eBay for £56 in December (liked it so much got my dad one too a few weeks ago). Exact same chair and came within 2 days.

got it for 79 quid - it does mark easy and the leather is fake - however it is comfy and I like it and when it starts to look scruffy, it is still comfy - I recently sat on a 300 quid chair in a shop and it was uncomfortable to an extreme - comfort over quality leather every time ! I have it in my home not the office though...the office one has to look ok longer, sad but true...

Bought it last year

Unfortunately, wear and tear is where it comes short. 6 years on and there's barely a scrap of "leather" left on it.

kriss57 Far too expensive for me, I bought it a year ago for over £30 cheaper. Sorry. Good chair though.

Been watching this for a while. Down from £334.99 to £259.99 plus free shipping. Yes its expensive for a chair, but it is a La-Z-Boy!

Was in costco over the weekend wanting this chair for so long however it was at full price. Hope they do this discounted price again.

Anybody know when this runs out? Or the size of the back? (there are many numbers on the diagram, but really unclear the back cm). Would it be big enough for someone who is 6 foot 4? Many thanks.

Is this price including vat

I returned a similar chair then my account was emailed having to explain my returns. So I would not buy a chair from amazon in future. It’s cheap tat from China.

Looking at the reviews it appears that this seems to deteriorate within 12 months of purchase. However, as its actually sold and dispatched by Amazon, won't they refund your money if thus happens ( normal wear and tear a side that is )?

Anyone recommend any decent office chairs?

Well sitting on mine now, it was easy to assemble and seemed to be of similar build quality to other chairs I've had and were more money. More comfy than the kitchen chair I was using.

Ah, Ms Tinsley & her snapped arms, is this the illegitimate daughter of Ivy by any chance

This looks like the chair I bought last year, I think form stapples, absolutely crap. You might as well put a plank across two piles of bricks.

Wow, you've got things a little misconstrued there! Relax, I didn't say they were a manufacturer of cheap tat, they just rebrand cheap tat it seems. I said this is a private label product, I've seen the exact same one before it's just rebranded, anyone with a slight amount of intelligence can see that.. I'll go back to doing what I do best - being annoyingly happy and sitting on a lovely, expensive chair which doesn't break no matter how fat I get. Cheers (y)

Again, you are just surmising, you clearly don’t have experience of the brand, and you clearly don’t know what you are talking about. The company is well over 100years old, not a cheap Chinese manufacturer as you so wrongly state. Stick to what you know about, which in the case of this company is very little. I have shared comments about the company based on my own personal experience, perhaps you should do likewise.

Showing as £87 now!?

Thanks for the info! I think I probably will go for a GT Omega chair, they definitely seem the best around that price.

I just went for the fabric one when I bought mine as I wasn't fussed on leather, it's so comfy you can sleep on it and so well built it could probably take the weight of 2 people. All the other chairs I'd got in the past were £50 cheap ones which broke after a year of 2 of slouching because the back support eventually gave out while these have really solid metal supports on the side distributing the weight evenly across each side with massive bolts you screw in. The plastic arm rests aren't actually that bad if you set them the correct way but it's not really that difficult to add some padding to them if you want. The £180 I spent on is one of the best £180 I've ever spent, can sit on it for hours without getting uncomfortable and needing to shift about and does wonders for your posture.

Link says £65.93 now!

I'm in the market for a new chair, my old Mayfair Leather Chair I got from Staples many moons ago has lost its plumpness, plus the gas lift has gone so I'm slightly too low (I know I could change the gas but seems an inordinate amount of hassle). I like the look of the GT Omega ones however I like the padded armrests - can anyone recommend a good chair with padded armrests - preferably REAL leather, not PU rubbish...
